@@pnaty97 my first one would not run on 2s. I bought it for a glider not for a sports plane but it would not run on 2s Horizon Hobby give me a great compensation package because I complain
Yeah I’ve been meaning to get a 2s battery to see how well it glides around. We’ve already tested the extremes of its aerobatics, now it’s time to see how well it coasts around
I’ve put through about 20 packs on 4s 350mAh on mine, it flies nicely & fast. In order to get the CG right I opened up the battery compartment a tiny bit in order to be able to slide the battery about 5mm more aft. Using GNB 4s 350mAh packs since the Spektrums are unobtainable atm. Also converted to XT30 plugs. Flight time is great, too. Doing some mild gliding and only a few high speed passes I can squeeze out up to 20min on one battery. No going back to 3s.
Oh that sounds awesome! I appreciate the tips on how to get it done, because we might be trying out that mod! Also, you can get 20 minutes out of a 4s battery??? That’s so awesome! And yeah swapping to xt30’s is probably a long term goal of ours too, they’re just such a good connector to use
Not to say 'i told ya', but🤷♂️😁! I knew u'd like it on 4s! Just not too many straight down & pull out at the last second dives! Wing tends to explode.
At 1 time, I refused to use the 'branded' batteries. SO, I whittle'd a bit of the fuse/wing area battery area foam out to slight bit & could move the branded 3s (& 4s)-300's back for better cg. I too use primarily 2s-350's. I had a few 4s-300's from another plane (lil draco maybe? I hated it), & just had to see😁😜
TOO, watch the plastic motor area where the foam (barely 🤷♂️) meets the motor mount. After several flights, their glue craps out. Foamtac, hot glue, gold ca will do a permanent fix there.
Oh you were 100% correct, the 4s is awesome!!! I for sure have to avoid the straight down dives, but they’re just too much fun haha. And yeah I might have to do a little extra gluing to make sure I don’t have any unexpected rapid disassemblies while flying. Which brand batteries do you use?
So the camera itself is only about $30 (linked in description) and then the adapter wire is a few bucks too. Like @Swankthe___ said, we’ve got a few videos going over each parts of the fpv setup, so feel free to check those out for a more in depth analysis!
I am amazed how many people take these glorified ice chests out to the field. Build the same plane out of balsa and monokote it with fly faster and perform much better.
Haha “ice chest” what a good word for it! We think it’s pretty cool too. We think that the low entry bar of this plane, plus the ability to add easy fpv for around $30 makes this an awesome beginner plane. Feel free to join our discord and post some vids from your balsa conscendo, because we’re always open to learning new things in this ever-changing hobby!
@Cakey831 yep That's me 55 years of flying my airplanes. The impressive styrofoam crates. You pay top dollar to buy chinese crap it gets full of dents and dings. Lol, I’m running mine on 2s😂
Sloped it for nearly an hour on the weekend, great little plane.

Such an underrated channel
Thank you so much!!!☺️
I really like the 100m speed test. You should do that with more planes and compare results
Yeah I think that’s a great idea! We’ll get that in the works!

how much does an fpv kit like this one you used in the video cost? thanks for the reply
