I love how Permission To Dance MV features different people across the world, from various race and nationality, age, gender, students and working adults etc. It's a beautiful manifestation of how music and art really transcends all barriers. And the scene where they started taking off their masks, "The wait is over" envisioning COVID-19 finally coming to an end. It reminds me a lot when Namjoon once said, "It scares me how we are slowly accepting and getting used to the "new normal" when we shouldn't be". This perhaps, maybe BTS way of telling us let's not lose hope. We'll eventually meet the end of this. COVID-19 will end. Soon, everything will be back to normal. Until then, hang in there. Live on.

I haven't been wearing my mask for a month or so now because of it -more people than not in my location are vaccinated. (the part where one hand is open palms up and the other hand swaying the fingers - V (feet) is Dance. It's telling everyone to dance.) " No need to talk the talk, just walk the walk," I am a teacher (regular fifth graders) and we have deaf and mute students in our school's SPED class. They're great dancers though they can't hear the music, they feel the vibe and keep good time and rhythm. And I'm sure they'll enjoy dancing to this. I sent them the mv and the live version so they can learn the dance. I love that BigHit came up with this idea. Their music truly transcends language barriers. I'm so proud to be ARMY!

My favorite skit yet. Love the little hat on Rocky. My favorite thing about this MV is the song itself. As a child of the eighties, i love the sonic nostalgia from the slight slap to the bass all the way up to the strings, this one had me full force grinning like a loon the whole time I listened to it for the first time. This might be the happiest song I have ever heard. Happy In a warm hearted way, not an abrasive one (for me).
I thank God for having such good souls, I liked the idea of including the proletarians in the video and even the cool kids plus their staff in the end. Very humble gentlemen, so rare nowadays. My fave was their easy dance moves most especially the sign language which soon I realized was for the deaf telling them to DANCE! Aside from music, DANCING is also a universal language even to people who can not hear. This is so touching.

Yes, it was Sign Language. They signed "happy", "dance" and "peace". Many ARMYs around the world were telling how their deaf friends and family got emotional seeing BTS asking them to be happy and dance. It was such an emotional override.
