In them thar days, stereos like you see at 58:30 were almost completely hollow, with a generic plastic faceplate covering the entire front to make it look like a component system. The rest was particle board. But basically half of that was for decoration. At best you had a cheap dual tape cassette, a turntable so cheap and plastic that it would barely work for making spin art, while the thing at the bottom is probably a cheap tape storage drawer.
Weird detail about Tandy: It started as a leather crafting company, they made kits for belts, etc. And another was Coleco, the name was short for "Connecticut Leather Co", and they BOTH got into electronics/computers. Neither computers were very good, but Coleco managed to kick Atari's ass as far as video game consoles go.

One Christmas the entire family got together as usual at my aunts house. They had a huge nicely decorated tree in their spacious pool house so we would all open gifts in there. My grandpa, must of been in his 80’s, had got up to use the bathroom as everyone sat and watched all the smaller kids open their presents. In the bathroom he had taken his sweater off before sitting on the toilet and just threw it up on the tank lid. He didn’t see that there was a burning candle on the tank lid and the sweater went up in flames so quick, within seconds the entire bathroom was a inferno. Everybody had to obviously rush outside as the men tried to put it out but it got too out of control. Christmas Day he burned down the pool house, the tree and the presents.

i hope to one day have a wrist watch that can project a holographic 4th dimensional space in front on you and it is also a physical space, like a horadric cube, that can hold stuff. just pop open your holostash and put your soda or whatever in it then close it and the soda can be accessed wherever you go. drag and drop browser window with your phone or even create a floating holocam that follow you instead of having a physical camera hooked up to something. would be awesome until some guy walks into a public space and pulls a katana out of his holostash and cuts everyone up. nevermind, this is a bad idea.
