I live in an open concept studio, so I “constructed” my own entryway by placing a tall bookshelf that you’re met with when entering. It houses some of my books, plants, and shoes. It doesn’t completely obstruct the view to the rest of the space, but still creates a feeling of separation. I also added a mirror and peg rail for keys and bags on the adjacent wall + a small table lamp in the windowsill. My entryway is very small & technically not even a room, but surprisingly functional!
