Love the doctor! In the process of quitting and right this moment I am ready to go get a pack but Dr. Grande saved me. Obviously the role play is depicting peer pressure to smoke, power play between girlfriend and boyfriend, and now my crave is gone.
I quit smoking just over 3 years ago. I decided I was going to quit then I did it. I'm fairly certain I won't start again, because about 6 months in I had a dream where I smoked a cigarette. When I woke up I felt so guilty, like I really did it in real life. That feeling was worse than anything I felt before. I don't want to ever feel that way again. Before I quit though, I went through a lot of the same thoughts this guy had. It's not that bad. How else will I get to talk to people... All that, but it was well worth it. 10/10 would quit again
Can you clarify that even though the client has a 45 mins session, you would still only go for 8mins and ask them to come back rather than spend the remaining time on the new goals they have mentioned? Thank you in advance
Yikes! Umm... I think you'd have a very grumpy client if you only spent 8 minutes with them despite them having 45 minutes booked or paid for. A good counsellor will find other activities and strategies to teach the client in the remaining time, in order to better help them understand themselves and achieve their goals.

Outstanding consultation
Quiting smoking can be the easiest and hardest thing to do... depending for how long does one want to quit it 😂
Thank you
