Shatter Farms is back baybeee.
It's a game based on, well, the video explains itself. Minecraft Farming mechanics along with Roguelite Dungeon Crawling, combined with Movement Shooter mechanics because people love when Indies have Movement Shooter mechanics.
Trust me when I say this I really hope it works as much as it sounds cuz writing this i realized how close this could be to a dumpster fire or kino lul.

this video is so quirky and abstract and im all here for it.
indeed! it is important to base your game on a specific experience!! we are making a moment whole, and to this we need to distill a feeling to the point of complete immersion, isolated gameplay mechanics and graphics don't mean anything if they don't complement each other, just as you don't feel like your on the beach while looking at a photo of sand while creating a makeshift nuclear weapon!! it can be quite difficult, game design that is, because you have to manage a hundred freaking things, but it is so rewarding, this is the one of the only mediums which can transport someone so immersive-ly into a place where they are not!!
Biggest part is mainly figuring out what to cut out (the gotdam enemi variations and massive spell system), but honestly, i found i kinda got a lot more clarity just basing things off to compliment an experience rather than making things cuz "Le design"

Man it feels like you are crying whlist making this video. Well yes centering a game around a story. Or making it into a sandbox. There are many ways your game can come and go. It can either be similiar to the *new game* Kill Knight Demo. Or similiar to some Touhou Project games. Where it is an arcade like game. Cause with this kind of graphics you can go either way.
I have ZERO clue why people think I am KN THE EDGE of tears.
The graphics are JUST because I can't model or texture my models lmao, going around it though
Main idea is valheim rn, where progression is slow, difficult but rewarding

But yeah I can only say keep up the good work and slowly you will get the hang of it.
You will find some tips and tricks later down the line. So just keep at it.
