In July of 2015, we stayed on Lot 62 for nine days, what a great place to relax and chill out! There is no other place like it that know of on the east coast, well worth the cost.
After watching this video, it made me miss Key West so much. Was there in 2014 and stayed at a condo on Duval St. It was absolutely beautiful and would love to go back! !

Wow, I was born and raised in Florida but I've never been to Key West; definitely on my list of places to go. Brother Darryl, your canoe dismount started off kinda rough but you transformed it into the coolest, smoothest canoe dismount the world has ever seen! Thanks for the great video! Tiffin is on my short list for our next coach and I would love for you to talk about it since you've done a few trips with it already. I'm looking for a coach that can handle a bike lift so I can take my Fatboy with me when we hit the road and tackle that bucket list.
redjaguar, it had a trailer hitch recall from Tiffin. No big deal. I still haven't gotten it updated. Will drop it by the dealership at the end of October when I take a break from using it. We have really enjoyed the coach!

This is a perfect RV resort to have two folding recumbent trikes like the Catrike Dumont. If you two were cruising through the RV resort on one of those, you would be the envy of the place.

Super nice video. I want to make a suggestion. Test ride a Catrike Dumont (folding recumbent trike). Test ride a HP Velotechnik Scorpion Plus. The Catrike manufacturing facility is in Orlando, but go to a nice recumbent trike shop and test ride a few of their models. They will be so much more desirable than your beach cruisers once you get the chance to test ride them.

We just picked up our 2019 36UA and will be headed to the keys the end on July for 2 weeks for some scuba and relaxation, staying in the state park. I love your videos! I really like how you detail each park. We are from South Ga and purchased a travel trailer last March (about a week before Covid shut everything down!) A lot of the parks you have visited are ones that we are “close” to. I really enjoyed the Coastal Ga RV park tour. I am from St. Simons, so visiting family will be easy to do. Thanks JDPEagle, We rented a car on this trip. I usually tow my Ford Taurus with a dolly for now. Dealing with the dolly is ok now but eventually will purchase a car that I can flat tow. Thanks for watching man!

Another great review. We stayed there on Lot #21 this past July, Quite pricey but isn't everything down there. Hope you didn't step on any chickens while strolling around :-) They are protected and there's a $300 fine for harassing them :-)

KJ, we booked about 6 months out for our September trip. The fee for our Silver lot was about $150 per night. Price goes up in October through the winter. Looking forward to going back to Key West, may not stay at Bluewater Key, but want to go back to KW!
Now that you guys have gone, was there a "better bang for your buck" campground that y'all would have liked to stay at, maybe closer or less expensive? We are headed down next week and looking for suggestions. Not taking the hog this time. Thanks guys.

Hey Greg, the average price for us during Sept for that specific lot was about $155. per night. These rates change often which is why I try to remember to put a link to the web siteI (in the description) for folks to see the cost for the time of season and location inside the rv resort. I dont always remember though.....Lol

We so wanted to go there for a couple weeks, but they have a 2 dog limit, and even though our pups are very small, they still said no.....oh well, we can just find another one.

Thanks Adrian! Our cost for that time of year was around $155.00 per night. I had not problem booking a site for September, not sure about the difficulty during other times of year. Booked about 4 months out... All the best to ya!

How many months in advance did you have to book? To get in I’m almost too afraid to ask the daily rate after you showed that $1M lot.
KJ, we booked about 6 months out for our September trip. The fee for our Silver lot was about $150 per night. Price goes up in October through the winter. Looking forward to going back to Key West, may not stay at Bluewater Key, but want to go back to KW!

Now that you guys have gone, was there a "better bang for your buck" campground that y'all would have liked to stay at, maybe closer or less expensive? We are headed down next week and looking for suggestions. Not taking the hog this time. Thanks guys.
Hey Steve, I really can't say at this point. I will say that the next trip down we will stay at another park for a longer period of time. I just haven't looked around yet for that next journey down there. Hope you guys have a great time. Be interested to know where yall stay....All the best!
@@TollesonLife I really love where you guys stayed because of the very tropical settings. I have about 6 other campgrounds to research between Bluewater and Key West and some may not be doable because of our large 44'er. At any rate I will let you know. Ive heard a lot about Boyd's also.

Hey Greg, the average price for us during Sept for that specific lot was about $155. per night. These rates change often which is why I try to remember to put a link to the web siteI (in the description) for folks to see the cost for the time of season and location inside the rv resort. I dont always remember though.....Lol

We so wanted to go there for a couple weeks, but they have a 2 dog limit, and even though our pups are very small, they still said no.....oh well, we can just find another one.
