What realy depressing and unfair is that Lana,as a mere human goes trough harsher "trials" with way lesser support and guidance than Clark troughout the show but gets robbed in the end of the one love she ever longed for. Thats utterly terrible. The show crossed the line here.
Heartbreaking Clana scene. It reminds me the Clana scene in "Hydro". So much pain in both their eyes at the end (because they still love each other). I like it when there is depth in the transcript, it reveals the essence of the character. Lana has been through a lot all over the seasons and deserves more than a chance. What a superhero whithout a superheart! Integrity was always a Clark quality. If the writers want Lana out, She deserves a decent and brave exit.
this scene links well to what lana said before... season 2, accelerate i think? that she feared clark would see who she really is and that it would change how he feels =(
of course clark loves her he would do ANYTHING for her thats why i love clana more for clark and his way of loving her NO MATTER WHAT hes just disapointed now and confused but he still loves her and she is good inside inspite of all the bad things she did he needs to give her a chance to prove that shes not the VILLAIN shes just lost and if he really wants to be a superhero he should start by helping the woman he cares about the most
They've really pushed the Clana thing throughout the season. There was always SOME sort of Clananess in every season, so it'd be a shame if that all fell apart, but it has to happen sometime... NOT on Smallville though, since Clois is in the farther future. You can have your Clois later in the wrinkly 80's movies... we'll cherish our sexy young Tom Welling/Kristin Kreuk Clana now.
Clana is the #1 couple...why else would they keep trying to bring Clana back... let us have our time while we can... you want to see Clois go watch the movies

In "Splinter" ep 7 season 5, Clark was infected by the Silver Kryptonite and almost killed his parents and Lana. Lana forgave him at the end. Clark should do the same for Lana, infected by the Green Kryptonite. There is still a gap in the evolution of Lana's character. It looks extreme to me that she turned dark so quickly. @Suuuuumaaa if Clark was a real person, I know he wouldnt be a person that I would like to deal with, because it only shows how hypocritical and a double-faced person he is,,, but I know this is the writers' doing because lois is the endgame in the comics, so everything HAS TO BE EASY and SMOOTH for her! how I wanted to see the SAME CHANCES given to LANA and then MAKE THE COMPARISON! It's about time. I used to love Clana, back in the day, but it's been a long time now. They aren't the same people and the same reasons for their relationship don't hold up. After Lexana, Lana's never going to be on the same wavelength as Clark again, and it's about time they give it up.
i say that while this will cause doubts in clarks mind about lana, it wont be the reason they end it...i reckon the whole 'clark destiny' thing will be the reason

HA! HILARIOUS....
Sumalicious No, no. Lois is the only one who got Clark’s powers who DIDN’T almost immediately start plotting revenge on someone; she took over the hero job as best she could until Clark got them back. The beginning of the end of Clana. It's clear the cracks between are starting to form. Lana told Clark that Lionel threatened to kill him, but she left out the part where Lionel was trying to protect him. Crossing the moral line? Clark is not going to cross that line for anyone, even Lana.
van76 threatening to kill is a very dangerous crime to commit and the fact that Clark does have a weakness and being that he knows that Lana was doing the right thing because he knew she was not pregnant which means Lionel knowingly acted irresponsibly
Clark tried to kill Lionel after he heard that Lana was forced to marry Lex and tried to kill Lex when he heard news of Lana's death exactly what are you talking about? He's CROSSED the MORAL line MULTIPLE times.
@@HazelAmarie well he didn’t he almost did but he didn’t but the Luthors crossed the moral line and the line of integrity lying in public that’s on them
I wish Clark would stick up for himself a little bit; not stand there like an idiot and let Lana walk all over him. Yeah... he managed to get out a few things. But that wasn't enough. How about shouting at her a bit? All he wanted was to start over again with the Lana he knew and loved and this is how it turned out. I seriously hope that in the next few episodes Clark begins to re-think his relationship with Lana and what she really has become.
She left out the part where Lionel was protecting Clark back in Phantom and she still left out that part. It's clear that Lana isn't honest with Clark.
She doesn’t see him protecting Clark because he doesn’t care how her or Clark feel when they were away from each other because of what he said to her on the wedding day. she doesn’t have to honor a promise to a criminal who physically and mentally abused her which Lionel knew about and did nothing and made things worse than when Clark was unto him about it Lionel lied right in his face if you would look at episode 2 of season 1 of smallville you would understand what Greg the bug boy was doing was not okay and his mom caught him and was handling like a mature adult Lionel handled the situation with no maturity
