Assuming this is a perfect square cut out and you can have any 3 white pieces going across, and also assuming that the only piece left to place in the puzzle was the yellow double arrow at the end (prior to the reveal). Surely you could rotate the middle left piece anti clockwise 90° then swap it with the piece above? And fit in the final yellow arrow

My first thought. I was like oh HELL no
