@@Daydream30583 Did you hear her impromptu acapella 'Fly Like A Bird' at dinner in a restaurant with two of her backup singers harmonising? It was posted on May 28, 2019 on Mariah's Twitter. My goodness. Her voice. What a voice. Preternaturally beautiful and technically quite superhuman.
@@eigen1255 That's really not the point!!In 2013 her voice suffered a massive blow!!Both chest and head voice were horse God knows what really happened;however 2016 the voice started to recover she started to PARTIALLY sing live and people judged her saying queen of lip singing,finished Disgusting well;there she is 2019 practically saying;worry about yourselves idiots cause I am BACK and once more after 25 years I will show why NOBODY can touch me
@@Daydream30583 I wasn't trying to argue a point; by mentioning the impromptu performance, I was just being impressed by her voice and singing ability that her critics and haters want to insist are gone. Mariah''s voice is truly a different kind of entity. It suffers periods of dryness / struggle, but it never goes completely downhill and disappears forever like some would want to believe. For example, the Glitter era was vocally healthier and more impressive than the Butterfly era that had come before it. She does still have her incredible voice; it's more picky and less reliable, but her voice is definitely still there.

I should have been there, and I know I would've been in tears.
Although I've seen Mariah 20 times and met her in person twice, I have to say that "Without You" is almost exclusively for non-US shows. And I really would love to see her in London, one of my non-US hometowns.

Pretty much mate and she shocked everyone.No catch up (50%live/50%CD)no lip singing nope 100%.It was a statement on her behalf shutting down each idiot who thought she can't sing 100%live
The way she lip syncs is not ok, at least do a new pre recorded vocal not this obvious auto tuned thing, it's the 0 effort law for a star like this at least do it like Celine Dion or Beyonce who know how to lip sync

Hard agree. It’s one thing to lip sync songs like this, another thing to lip nearly every song in your set which has been pretty much the case since Butterfly but to not even bother re-recording the stuff you’re lip syncing to, there’s just no excuse.
And also if you’re saying “this is not lipped” please listen to the studio version. I don’t know how people can call themselves fans without listening to what are two of her most popular songs (especially in the UK).
@@Solo-vh9fm Agreed as well. There are parts where she is singing live, the ad lib parts and then suddenly it changes to deep and very clear notes that sound like a recording.
@@Ky-po1zj which hate? you pay a lot for tickets, at least the artist needs to have some pipes, and I went to this tour I booked flights to go to Ireland, this is not hate it is simply the truth, they make a lot of money so they should be professional, if you want to lip sync because you have vocal issues which we all know she has for a very long time, at least do it right

Although aspects of this concert were fantastic (hello, Slipping Away!) I agree with you. Mariah's relying alot on her backup singers, as well as the audience to carry her on this one. She did well with Without You though, as it's in a lower register, something she never really lost. She still has the whistle register and her lower register. The middle range is almost completely gone. Still an incredible legend though!

She’s literally human. All celebs are, it’s not common for anyone to have a voice like she has and it’s unbelievably rare for someone to be able to sing like she did. Just appreciate the music she has created and enjoy these moments. She has nothing to prove, so many artists have been forgotten along with their work. Just appreciate how great her talent was and why she’s the icon she is today
