Dude, same problem with my bike. I got it repaired two time but problem crept back. Further, my bike had loose tappet (2018 bike!!). We Gixxer owners should not let this go. Suzuki must do a recall. They can't take us for granted.

You are right they take there customer for granted as if we have some kind of liability . I was wanted to take some action about them as they lied to me when i went to the workshop to fix this problem but then i found out there is no one who listen to our problem. I also wanted to make separate video on that issue but i didnt made any as i told you there is no one who can give me solution. I just put my review on google .

I guess we dont need to change magnetic coil.... Silicon paste will work for it... Just tell ur mechanic to apply paste properly... Itll work.. it worked for me✌️
N also plz try to avoid fixing ur problems from showroom they guys just loot u well.. wont fix your problems at all... Beside labor charges are way beyong the service the provide...
Bhai this is common problem in this bike, i faced it after running 3500kms. I found resolution for it as suggested by a youtuber to use Red Silicon gasket sealant and it worked very well. I didn't get the starter coil replaced as i was able to notice the issue immediately. Sub standard part.

Hi,Thoufi rahman. Just once. I clocked 13000 + km yet. And this issue can occur again. About cost of repairing i already told in the video.
Its a amazing bike but yes there are some major issues in this bike . Plz chk other videos of mine in order to get an idea. Let me give you a brief info . There is gasket problem for which they open our bike engine which is not at all necessary as we have a alternative of that but they dont tell about it(i get to know about it by my viewers) , fuel tank cap ring that break very easily, suzuki service center guys wont treat u and your bike properly.
Other then that this bike is amazing as i said earlier with get performance , no vibration. Best in 150cc segment.
According to me if your budget is allowing go with minimum 200 cc bike. Dont buy this bike bcz of the problems occurring in this bike.
Chk out the comment section of this video ( th-cam.com/video/yNULJ3tizBQ/w-d-xo.html ) lots of my viewer said that they faced the same problem that i faced and its a major problem and occur again and again.

I got Gixxer now 4 months old no oil leakage but suddenly my RPM is down to 1000 from 1500 and when shifting gears if I keep the clutch pulled RPM goes zero and bike gets turned cut off automatically well I checked and it seems I got problem in Fi system may be but I'm getting my bike serviced tomorrow ASAP

I personally suggest you if your budget is allowing then go with minimum 200cc bike. Otherwise this is also a great bike but remember this problem before buying it.

When start button is triggered ,Engine is cranking too..

Hi,7t s2dioz. Sry for the late reply. No i havent faced any footpegs vibrations yet. And obviously it you ride your bike till red line bike will vibrate bcz its not made to ride till red line and by riding till that point you are damaging your bikes engine.

But its a major problem in this bike and occur again and again even after you fixed it. But some kind on tube named as gaset tube(not sure about the name) is available in market i will recommend every one to use that tube.

Hey changing that coil is not end of problem it will soon leak after some months, if you like diy you can apply high temp sealent at the edges of the leaking part ,i did mine and its working like charm . service centre guys always goes for parts change not to the solution of the problem its their nature its an ultimate headache for owners.

Hi,Mahesh D. This is a awesome bike , its a value for money bike and best in 150 cc segment. I ride this bike daily and i totally enjoy it. But these are some problem that are there in this and they occurs frequently as per user mentioned, there are some more problems in this bike ( th-cam.com/video/OsuT4dxPDV4/w-d-xo.html ) chk out this video. Except these problems its a great bike. Soon i will make a user review on this bike and share more detail on this bike.
Now acc to me if your budget is allowing then go with 200cc bike minimum & with the bike which have abs in it.

Trust me bro.. dont buy.. both me and my friend has the same bike.. engine problems are never ending. Most of the time even the service center doesn't know what they are dealing with. My friend sold the same bike after 3 month's of usage. My bike problem started after 1 year and its never ending.

Let me tell you and all here one thing that paste (tube) used by your technician was not Anabond and most importantly whenever such things are to be repaired Gasket Maker (also called Red Anabond) should be used which makes an additional coat of gasket which avoids leakage to a way greater extent. This is just for information no offence meant..

Bhai as soon as you observe the leak, clean the oily area and apply Anabond Auto Gasket Maker Red around the square area of the rubber part and push some within lightly, it works.

But the thing is i fumble a lot in front of camera i dont know why, off camera i speak well but on camera i start fumbling. And that thing destroys the video .
So i thought that i should make videos in hindi , but now you are suggesting me to make videos in english them i will try my best and do it. BTW in coming days i will do a survey so that i will get to know what my subscriber wants from me and what do they like to watch as i have lot of content but i am bit confused about it. So i want u to take active participation in it. And give your valuable suggestions.
To stop misleading people, I own the bike for last 3+ years, it only happened once, that only because I used to experiment with my bike very frequently.
Gixxer is a very good bike, your service center may not be good enough or your particular bike has manufacturing defect.
Raise it to email support if it happens again.

Build quality is bad on the Gixxer... Replaced Piston rings , valves and Engine sealing at 19900 Kms under warranty... After warranty the timing chain collapsed and it wound on the Crank arm and broke a piece inside the Engine case and crank arm got bent. Such a disaster. Never expected this with Suzuki! Suzuki service center people are utter useless they damaged my engine head thread!

nothing serious , if you use Motul 7100 fully synthetic engine oil
or any fully synthetic engine oil
then there will be oil leakage from the seals
use mineral oil and there is no leakage --simple

its a common prob in gixxer it wont be fixxed by changing magneto the prob will come again in few kms.....i had the same issue they fixxed it with some kind of gel compound now its 100% fixxed
Hi, amol and jerry. Amol is a major problem in this bike. The gel compound jerry is talking about is gasket maker annabond. Use that and you wont face this problem again.
