I've always liked to imagine all three montages take place in the same story: about a wagon full of pancakes giving up his dead-end salesmen job and wanting to find a new lease on life by entering into the champinship, and along the way he finds a blossoming love with his trainer Strong Bad, that while doesn't last forever is a cherished experience for them both - WHERES THIS SPORTS MOVIE HOLLYWOOD, HUH?
What amazes me about this Sbemail is that they actually followed through with retiring the paper when they got to email 173. I remember counting the sbemails as they came out, anticipating this event. It like watching history in the moment when it finally happened.
Funny thing about this is the wagon full a pam-cakes story in the end credits almost mirrors what Daniel Larrusso ended up doing in Cobra Kai, used local car dealership adverts and a wife with two kids in Los Angeles.
someone pointed out to me at that the "Falling In Love With A Wagon Fulla Pancakes" song sounds literally exactly like Hey There Delilah despite the fact that Montage was released two years prior to that song and it's completely ruined this sbemail for me because I can never stop thinking about it
