This version of this song has to be THE most stunning performance I have ever witnessed. The voice, the piano, the ambient sounds of the street around him …. adds to the melancholia of the lyrics. A touch of the ordinary in the otherworldliness of this music ... hhhhhmmmm -so beautifully done
Finest voice that I've heard in 30 yrs. I have watched many of the videos of ANNENMAYKANTEREIT'S Covers and originals in English. I've watched 4 videos in German of which i don't understand but was was impressed by. This one is my favorite
I love Annenmaykantereit so much ❤ they come from the city that I was born in. Especially their songs "Nicht nichts", "Tommy"(the Live-Version), "Pocahontas" and many many more that I can't decide 😂 They also sometimes sing songs in english, like "Sometimes I like to lie" (I had full body goosebumps!!) or they do cool collabs like on "Roxane" or even better "Tom's Diner" 😉 Have fun with all these recommendations ✨
Thank you for your genuine reaction. I liked how you described Henning’s voice - present. I find it so accurate. Commanding and soft… Hope to see more reactions. See if you like Your door. But honestly AMK has so many unique songs. Now I know the best word to describe their art - present. Thank you.
greetings and love from Germany again. Great reaction like always....that´s how he actually startet...making music in the Fußgängerzone for the love of it and for a few bucks....thanx for this reaction....stay safe
Thanks so much for watching! It definitely is beautiful to see artists doing there thing in the streets. True freedom! Today i have a new reaction coming to one of their songs.
@@SaeedReacts. really, that's great. "Lass es kreisen" live in Köln/Cologne, my favorite at the time. Right after "Ich geh heut nicht mehr tanzen" (Proberaum Session). Thanx again...and please keep on going...you're one of my few favorite reacters.
In a piano (Klavier), the strings are stretched vertically, making the instrument more compact and suitable for smaller spaces. In contrast, a grand piano (Flügel) has the traditional shape of the original pianoforte with horizontally stretched strings and offers more expressiveness.
German "Klavier" means "piano" (the instrument). A keyboard (the instrument) is called Keyboard. Both a Klavier and a Keyboard have a "Klaviatur", that is the keyboard (all the keys, not the whole instrument).
Hey there. :-) I think, we Germans use different words for different things. What we called a Klavier is an upright Piano. And we called a Grand Piano "Flügel" like Wing. And yes, I know, our language is a little tricky for not natural speaker. ;-)
I would like to contribute to a better understanding of the text by sharing a thought we have in Germany when we say, "we are standing barefoot." It is metaphorical and means that one has nothing left to counter the situation or, in other words, has been defeated in an argument.

Such a sad song. I could feel that even without the translation, but glad I looked up the lyrics anyway. I adore his voice.
A masterpiece of Henning solo!!!!!!

Thanks again, Saeed, for the great reaction. AMK is a group of 3 songwriters, so a real band with more than "just" the singer. Till next time;) Achim
Really enjoyed this one. Thanks for introducing me to it! Take care, Achim!
I love how you describe Henning's voice ❤

Never knew that. Thanks for sharing!
AnnenMayKantereit can do no wrong. He is the Stromae of Germany.
His voice blows all my circuits.
Ozean - AnnenMayKantereit (Live from Frankfurt)
I am dreaming love songs mostly about you...... But they will break up, as there is mno communication anymore..
I love those guys.

Thanks for shedding some light on that!

His voice is a bit like Colter Wall. An American country singer. Very unique. Try his song Kate McCannon from his 16 Breweries Sessions.
Added it to my list! Thanks!
i like your thoughts about the song the singer and the lyrics, you seem to be a very reflected person, i realy appreatiate that
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words.

"Klavier" is piano in German and Afrikaans
