Our 1st RV some 20 years ago was a Keystone Cougar and we absolutely loved it. This video made me miss that one again. We do Love our current RV a GD 376th.
I love this floor plan too! My 2014 Durango Gold Nugget is almost the exact same layout except for the mid bunk room/loft. That's the only thing I'd change about my 5 th wheel. We have more storage than the Cougar, and lots of pull out pantry space and pull out shelves. Our master closet is used as a bedroom for my grandbaby when her family visits to stay with us. Her crib fits inside with room to spare. Makes a perfect nursery for her. We set up her sound machine and camera and she can sleep through the campground holiday fireworks shows. Enjoyed the tour. Looking forward to more!
Make sure you check the under belly and all the seems. I also check all connections for taps and outside faucets. It’s a very nice trailer. I could live in that!! ❤❤
If you are thinking of buying this unit look into the refrigerator. I believe the one is this unit is a furion 12 volt 16cu one, which is the same as the one I have in my Grand Design 2022 Reflection. It also looks as if it set up with solar(battery, converter and solar panels). The freezer works great, however the refrigerator does not get below 40 degrees (even when set below). If the outside temp is 80 or above the refrigerator has a hard time maintaining even 40 degrees.
If you are thinking about buying new, do a LOT of research first. Recommend watching Liz Amazing channel. Pretty eye opening. New rv’s are pretty much crap. Lippert frames are failing rendering brand new 5th wheels a total loss. At the very least get a professional inspection on anything you buy. Quality control is none existent in just about any brand. Very sad. We planned for last 10 years to retire, buy our rig and hit the road. The RV manufacturers have ruined this dream for us with their sloppy builds making this dream too risky for us.
Look into a northwoods build, nash, arctic fox.. I just hit year 9 with my arctic fox and I'm still completely satisfied with my purchase.. and they build their own frames
Yes, my C-PAP machine would definitely fit on the bedside shelf, but I didn’t see an electric outlet. (???). LOVE this unit and all the upgrades (i.e., TPMS). Cougars are one of the nicest classes of 5th wheels we’ve seen!
We have a Montana 5th wheel (Also a Keystone product) and we love the shelves above the bed!! My husband's CPAP fits perfectly on them and the outlets next to it help so much!!
We personally haven’t had any negative interactions or experiences with Lippert or Lippert products. We’ve made many good friends who work for/with Lippert. Thanks for watching
Have you thought about a toy hauler 5th wheel? If so and decided that was not for you, why did you decide it wouldn't be right for you? Lots of pluses to a toy hauler. You could take a golf cart with you, space to store Ebikes, take a motorcycle kiddo's won't be with you forever you will have the option to hope on the motorcycle for some wind therapy. Great review of the 5th wheel would like to see more reviews from you guys. Have you looked at Luxe 5th wheels?
Brand new RVs are now being built crappy due to Covid and materials were in back order so now the manufacturers of RVs are building them like crap. Please pay for an inspector to check for cheaply made RV
@@donnabaardsen5372 I'll bet you're one of those people that take a red marker and correct the grammar and spelling you find on the various sh!thouse walls you visit in your travels. There are truly more important things to get twisted up about. But, hey, if it brings you joy to point out other people's mistakes, party on! Just don't expect many of us to care about your opinion.

Yes, you have to be careful and get an inspection on both new and used RV's.

They all sound like great features for new RVs. You want to make your RV travel, whatever you use to travel with, safe and comfortable.

My husband has a sleep apnea machine and no it would not fit on those shelves
I’d be nervous of buying brand new tv since poor quality is abundant in numerous models. No for my CPAP machine to fit on that shelf.
A cpap machine would probably fit up there, but depending on the brand, if it fell it might cause serious injury.
