Well, this video brough "joy" to me. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous fabrics and congrats on your marriage. I'm terribly happy for you. I wish you both the best of life, good health, and happiness all the days of your lives. DA
Such a cool addition for otherwize so traditionally steeped Rubelli to have these designs! Love them, such great vibrant energy, whimsical yet still classic and feel designed with a light and breezy hand although its really a very thourough, time consuming job. 👌😍
This guy speaks my mind and my language. I buy yards of fabric because I like the design and feel. I don’t make anything, just the joy of touching and enjoying my fabric stash. Furniture and drapery fabric is usually robust and thick, so luxurious. Quilting fabric and Homespun I also love to collect.
Love the work of Luke Edward Hall so much, it’s also very inspiring. I have a things for precious fabrics, so these look gorgeous! How amazing is it to wear your own fabric on your wedding. Also does anyone know which pen he uses at 1:34?
Gosh, it's all so beautiful. My 13 years aold daughter wants to become a fashion designer, but the lazy thing don't bother to have a close look to the stones when we walk at the mountains in France or the fruits in the trees in the Caribbean or even the blackberries in the country side in England. I told her one thing is to like dress to impress and another one is design nice stuff. But there you have, I keep pushing untill one day I give up 😅
I would have dissolved into a puddle at 13 to find out my mother had called me lazy on a public platform! I find this comment quite rude and unnecessary.
She’s lucky to be able to enjoy such rich experiences. Just keep giving for the joy of giving, without expecting anything in return. You might be surprised one day.
@@S71597 ....it was out of love. And unless you have children, you know you can call them lazy, irresponsible and so on without offending them. But if your majesty think so, good luck with your kids. Anyway, my kids don't know who I'm in TH-cam 😉
@@artnotforweekends .... Thank you Lucy, I promise you I am doing my best bit to spoil her and make her understand how lucky she is even when she believes she doesn't!
I think these fabrics prints are so bad, I can get better types of prints in the high street market...Sad to see an iconic brand had to choose a designer like him, with no connection whatsoever with the brand heritage. These prints are so childish and so not in line with the sophistication of the brand....how many times have I seen these motifs? way too many for my taste....reminds me of the TIGER SHOP.....my personal opinion...
I LOVE fabric and textiles. So beautiful. Preserve history.
Luke Edward Hall is always a joy.
He wore the perfect jacket for his wedding! 🌹
ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZED BY LUKE'S VISION COMING TO LIFE ~
His color combos are amazing
Love the arcadian bust design, white on red
To do what you love is the best way to live.
I love anything to do with Luke Edward Hall and his partner. Too cool.
What a talented man. Besides from the fabulous fabrics I love the pink room.
Joy. The name of the game. Nice work.

Cocteau meets Corinthian meets Garthwaite. Very original.

It will be a pelargonium, I think- get one with scented leaves!

Wow. You sound like an insufferable mother. My condolences to your daughter.

I love purple shampoo.
Luke's work is very reminiscent of Duncan Grant. (Something in the English DNA?)

Is ‘inspiration’ another word for ‘copying’ where one is devoid of any original ideas?
All drawings are graphic.
