- It's a big day for us as its embryo transfer day at the hospital. We have decided to go with the intralipid infusion, one of the many add-ons offered, to really give us the best chance of a successful IVF pregnancy following our miscarriage.
For those of you who don't know, this is our story - A few years ago we began trying for a baby and unfortunately it didn't take long to realise that wasn't going to happen for us the natural way. Back in 2019 we started down the path of having our first round of IVF. Sadly this didn't work and unable to get any further funding on the NHS we flew to the Czech Republic for a self funded ICSI IVF cycle. This was an absolute disaster from start to finish!
Next we went to Miracle Hospital Cyprus where Sadge had success and she fell pregnant. Very sadly she had a miscarriage and we lost the baby. Words cannot describe how this feels and it was in part this trauma that led us to van life and alternative living.
It's now 2022 and we have decided to come back and carry on where we left off...
Who Are We?
We're Alan and Sadge, a couple from the UK living full time in our converted van Apollo. We are currently in Cyprus trying to make a baby.

Oh guys. We only started watching your videos a couple of weeks ago and have been bingeing from the start, then saw your “IVF videos” popping up so just HAD to watch. I felt so emotional watching what you both have to go through, upset that you have to go to the extent you are, but happy you have the chance. I’m keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you both that you get the result you want in a few days time. Hi Alan and Sadge, It looks very relaxing where you are so should help ease the stress and worries. so Good luck with it all. You've got each other that's the main thing. See you next time enjoy the blue skies. Cyprus, its a long time ago since I was there, late teens? I remember even the women were laying tarmac to help create roads, and getting lost up in the stunning lush mountains, the air up there was so beautiful and fresh. They were lovely people in the small villages and they offered us food and shelter and said the roads were too dangerous at night to travel back down in our little Mini. Happy memories, great hiking island and a curious history and division.

I just had to send a comment we are routing for you and I hope all you dream’s come true my wife and myself went though ivf,gift and many treatments 39 years ago sadly it didn’t work for us but we all move on in life and the love you have for each other and the desire for life and travel will help in the future living in our moterhome in Spain ❤️

It is so hard to just try and take, on day at a time, but, that's just what you have to do if you want to keep yourself in a good positive frame of mind. It's weird, I've been thinking of you both all week. I guess it's human nature to be worried and care for others. It just feels strange as I don't know you and will never meet you but feel like I do through watching your videos. There is usually a dot on the vials where you thumb goes and snaps off easy usually. Incase your struggling. Nothing worst than slicing finger with them. Then snap away from thumb not up in a rotation motion keeping vial vertical. Hope it makes sense.
Yes definitely using the dot but there's a few that are really hard to snap
@@RunningOffGrid ha yea I have that at work. You can get a device to help with snapping vials. Not sure how much they cost though.
