Everytime I rang the police to report someone driving badly, speeding or a vehicle not fit to be on a road I was treated like somone who should keep their nose out of it or like I was telling the police how to do their job, so I stopped any interaction with the police.
I've reported several drivers and never had anything other than professionalism from the call handlers, only 2 weeks ago I reported a driver that was 20 mph below the speed limit on a 50mph main A road, the driver was also swerving within the lane and braking every time a car came the other way.
@@luvstellauk I'm glad you have had a good experience, it looks like it depends on your location or maybe on a person handling the call, the problem is that everyone working in th UK has to pay for the Police and one would expect some sort of consistent professional standard and of the day if you call a private business and your experience isn't up to standard you call a different business next time, unfortunately this is impossible with the police.
I called 999 once to report a group of yobs kicking and stamping on a guy that's on the floor, I was worried for his wellbeing, it was the early hours of the morning walking home from a night out down the town, this incident was not in the town so no cameras. I told the operator what's happening and she asked my name, I said I want to report it anonymously. She rudely told me in a very stern and nasty voice to not bother phoning it in then, she then hung up on me.
The blind leading the blind, what could go wrong. Instead of riding around in costly cars, they would do well to get back on the beat, where the real crime happens, but given most of them are not physically fit shall we say, that might cause problems.
I see apparently drunk drivers regularly on my commute home - Christmas or not. If I rang 999 every time, I would not be popular with the emergency services. Especially where the vehicle concerned has blue flashing lights.
I hope they do this in Cornwall as I know a persistent drug driver but has never been caught but many of the local residents has reported her but nothing is done about it.
What's the point, courts let them off because they use the it will cause hardship, bit like the chap reported for doing 95 mph in a 50 mph area. He used the hardship excuse to stop from being banned.
They've really lowered the bar for police officers and for the Army. There thinking of banning women from the army on the frontline as it puts them at a disadvantage and puts there colleagues at risk, a little woman can't pull a man out of danger etc, the same would apply to the police.
There not allowed to target pubs or drivers leaving pubs, but if they drive past and a car is leaving a pub then the police can stop them, or if someone reports a drunk driver then they can hideaway to catch them, but there not allowed to sit outside pubs waiting to catch drink drivers.
Probably time would be better spent taking the illegal scooters off the road, concentration on the Weed issue everywhere and forcing people to get lights on their bikes. Just a few thoughts

"I saw police officers in Yorkshire!"
"O really, where?"
"On GB news."

Any chance of removing the plethora of uninsured, unroadworthy vans?
Or Asian female drivers who are driving large cars, can't see over the steering wheel & probably haven't taken a driving test on UK roads
Not impressed with police priorities. Catch criminals and stop having it easy.
I called 101 last weekend to report something after 40 mins I hung up!
Don't call 101 for something like that if you are following a driver you think is impaired through drink or drugs, or maybe a medical reason call 999
I suspect more accidents are caused by people on phones whilst driving . . If the police are highlighting something then its an easy job for them .

PR by police who are very unresponsive to information sent to them

Waste of time phoning the Police

lmao at the little police women. Women put forward to talk on it, all women promotion.

who is it targeted towards pubs ?

What there's actually police in my neck of the woods 😯
Stopping only the high-end vehicles.
Are there ' roadside test kits ' which test for anything other than alcohol?
Yes drug tests.
Got to laugh.
Police don’t do there job people complain police do there job people laugh
