carnal el wattage, no tiene mucho significado si tu bocina es más eficiente. la mayoría de personas se dejan ir por los watts eso solo te indica la resistencia o capacidad, no que tan fuerte suena.

@@alicetsoi7276 there is no 18" going down to 20 Hz, as there is no market for such drivers. Most 18" are here to push spl, not going low. The Faital would go lower than other, old JBL 2241 or PHL 6031.

Old driver, the B revision is awful (talk about taking a product and downgrading it) and has poor power handling. Nope. JBL 2242 waxes it all day long.
The problem with 18" woofers is that suddenly your favorite songs suddenly becomes the whole FKing neighbourhood's favorite song. A friend of mine has 2 JBL PA woofers built into 3way hifi speakers and even with a shitty 40watt JVC amp, i could feel the lower base *OUTSIDE* the goddamn house... and he wasn't even playing loud.
non capisco minimamente come si possa ritenere il jbl 2245h di cui ne ho ben 4 in magazzino paragonarlo agli altri. B&C - RCF-8Sound sono nettamente superiore in qualità, distorsione e soprattutto affidabilità. Provate un bel 18SW115 e poi vedete come JBL va nel cestino a tempo zero.

I know very well the old professional components of the Jbl brand, I'm not saying that they suck, God forbid but, unfortunately, they have always been very delicate components, so much so that in 30 years and more of work experience I have repaired and changed hundreds of them. Many loudspeaker manufacturers used Jbl in the old days but then companies like B&C RCF 8sound have totally replaced JBL components making huge and impressive leaps in quality. Nexo' d&b l-acoustic and many others destroyed JBl which, in order to try to survive, had come out with a new range of loudspeakers which unfortunately used the same old and obsolete components. they only lasted 3 years in the catalog and were unsuccessful. Jbl is lucky enough to have a big name but nowadays there is so much better, including monitors. Then I understand who has a passion for vintage.
not one of these even get 24hz on fs, id rather use amy1oinch and have a louder, lower, cleaner setup... complete waste of money buying this crap, oh and i have a Sstream XXX 18 also.... just incase anyone tries to tell me a cheap 18 is better than a quality 10.
