Great video. Been using Bachmann HO products since 2007 and they are very nice. Just started N scale this past month and I am in love with N scale. Great 2 part series!
Hello.I enjoyed watching the video. My brother had always wanted one of these trains since his childhood. He is now going to be 66 years. My sister and I want to gift him one.We stay in India.I was wondering if these trains can be operated by batteries as ours country uses different voltage(220).. What material are these made off? Please reply.Thank you
Radio Shack used to offer Foreign Travel Converters that would convert 220 volts AC to 110 volts AC so American electrical items could be used in other countries. Maybe some other company makes them?
As both an O gauge and HO gauge modeler, I enjoyed this video, informative and comprehensive, delivered in a laid back style. I tried to get a clear shot of your ring, but was unable. Is that a West Point ring?
Curious Question not relating directly..but .About to purchase a new old stock N scale Bachmann Frontiersman set.Big question, the coupler is not on the tender and the drive shaft not installed. Is this correct on some of these issues?
i just got a bachman f7 1950,s style and i have only had it 3 days and how do you get the shell of it and how long will should i run it with no lube because the store i bought it at did not have any manhunts and i might not be able to go to a train hobby shop fore a wile and i know were there is one pleas answer =)
hi, I have a vintage Bachmann 7071 chessie system locomotive, when I first used it it ran very smoothly, since then I have cleaned and oiled it, now it is sluggish on startup occasionally. im assuming I got oil on the brushes, but ive cleaned them with rubbing alcohol since to try and get it off, and it is still sluggish but runs great between half and full speed. Im new to the hobby and just finished my first layout and would love to see it run properly, any tips to fix this issue would be great, thanks!!
Make sure any oil or grease is cleaned off the electric motor's commutator as well as the brushes. The commutator is the curved metal plates that the brushes contact. The alcohol should work for cleaning the commutator.
A German firm, Preiser, makes all kinds of miniature figures of people & animals in the different model railroad scales. Maybe Walthers carries them - www.walthers.com
Maybe an experienced model railroader in your town could look at the locomotive. It sounds like the grease got into an electrical contact & is not allowing electric current to the locomotive's motor.
Random_games Productions I have athern ho stuff and a couple Bachman athern can pull a good 30 cars easy and Bachman can pull like 10 and Bachman won’t push them backwards athern will

Try to find an experienced model railroader in your town. He could probably help you determine the problem.

How do you fix broken trains
Hi Bachmann. My locomotive won't run after i lubricated it with grease. What should I do?
Buy a Kato.

BUY MÄRKLIN ... GERMAN PRODUKT !!!
Can l have that train set please?
I'm sorry. I didn't understand where you put the "grease".
Grease is usually applied to the gear teeth.
