His opinion doesnt matter tbh. He surely have great experience of esports but situations here in India are not what they look like from the outside world. He might be of Indian origin but his knowledge of the country overview is too short. We still are a developing country and esports is still emerging right now here. Almost all the families dont want their kid to play gamers on PC because they still consider gaming as a waste of time. It'll take a few generations to make esports as popular and as promising as other physical/non physical sports .
Mobile gaming is something which is very popular now and will always be in limelight in our country because not everyone can afford to have a PC but everyone has a phone in their home.
We do have good Valorant Players in our country but consistency is what they all lack, inconsistency in aim, inconsistency in skills. I would love to have a team with all 5 indian players but idk if this is possible with what players we have right now. Teams in VCLSA arent performing that well, matches dont go that great and they dont seem to be that fun (except few).
The outside orgs dont come to India looking for talent after what Forsaken did in CSGO so our reputation already is quite bad. I am expecting esports to grow more with a better pace after government has started highlighting it. Mobile gaming surely has gain a lot but I am still a little dicey about PC gaming.

lol no region other than Europe has been good at CS in a hot minute. Sadly, the only thing India is known for in CS is the word.exe incident. and bro, did you really just compare Valorant to Pokemon Unite? Dog, India is good at t2-t3 mobile esports. As much as I hate to admit it, the only real contribution we've made in T1 esports is through players like FNS. 3) Global Esports is the only Indian team in franchising and Rushi prefers a "Global Team"
    4) Orgs aren't nurturing talent well, which matters a lot. Look at how teams like Loud and Fnatic brought new players and they instantly seemed better

Half the world population so 3.5 billion people. Looks like FNS skipped education. Dude knows nothing about gaming scene here and is giving his judgement. The esports industry in India is still growing and there are not many orgs willing to invest in pc games because the prize pool is just not that big and finding sponsors is not easy as compared to mobile games. Good player can't pursue a career in gaming because of it's instability.
