Have you listened to "This Cultural Moment" Podcast with Mark Sayers? Hahaha very much the same with JMC getting to excited lol.
I do think in the last few years, in general, he is taking deeper breaths and listening.

This podcast didn’t turn out how I imagined: JMC cut Scazzero off NUMEROUS times. This is podcast format - learn how to LISTEN.

This was fascinating other than JMC interrupting PS regularly. Great questions but Maybe JM had too much coffee beforehand?!

JMC appears to suffer from anxiety. If correct, this would compel him to speak at off times.

Yes! His first book called My Name is Hope is all about his journey through anxiety and depression.

Can somebody enlighten me: how can we be spiritually mature but emotionally infant? How can we reconcile this with following the flesh versus following the spirit in Romans 8?

I would recommend you read Emotionally Healthy Church by Scazzero. Super helpful for me.
You could also take this little quiz from Scazzero might shed some insight.

Or do some cliff notes with this series if your more of a listener. Though i actually thought I had this uploaded.. It will be soon :)

You can't. To be spiritually mature, someone would be producing fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. How can you be producing those things while being an emotional infant.
You do not need Emotionally Healthy Spirituality or Practicing the Way. Anyone can do those things and sit in silence and focus on breathing. You do not need the Spirit to do those things. They lessen and/or remove Christ. You do need Christ to Pray and understand God's Word. So, if you are born again, just do what God's Word says and walk by Spirit.
