Yeah this vid is super accurate! Although I really wanna stress you do not have to come out. Coming out doesn’t make you “a better therian” or “more of a therian” or “more experienced” and coming out as a therian is super scary and leaves you quite vulnerable. So yeah don’t come out unless you’re absolutely sure. It’s not something you need to do!

If you have strict parents and/or you fear they'll get really mad if you tell them, I came up with a way! (I have parents that are supportive of it, so dw abt me, I came up w/ this when I was helping an online friend with coming out as one to their strict parents.) *---* 1.♤ Get confident enough and then say you have a question. Ask them if they know about therianthropy. 2.♡ If they ask what it is/don't know what it is, explain it ACCURATELY and the community behind it, and that they are USUALLY just kids having fun and being themselves! 3.◇ If they ask why, then you can just say you've heard about it recently and you just want them to know or something. 4.♧ You can ask if they support it. If they do, you can come out about being one freely. However, if they dont, play along and don't say that you aren't one/don't support to avoid them lashing out and/or freaking out. 5.☆ If they ask after step 4 instead of after step 2 or 1, then you do step 3 here. *---* *And remember, follow the tips in the vid to make it easier! If my child came out as a therian i would definitely Give them a room makeover,buy masks, special places in garden, i would make them choose new clothing for therians and everything❤❤ ( i dont have kids but when ill be like 20+ ill prob have children

What helped me is my older sibling is trans and my mom supports them a lot and I came out as a therian in may and she supports she actually bought me masks and I made a yarn tail she helped braid the yarn and I show her my quads and gear and she supports a lot

My best tip would be they don’t have to understand to accept you :) my mom doesn’t completely understand what an alter human is yet but still is very nice abt it! For ur friends I would suggest that maybe you show some signs but don’t go out of ur comfort zone. I hope you surround your self with ppl that can accept you for you! I’m so so so scared to tell my parents I’m a quadrobits. I feel like they wouldn’t care that I wear silly animal masks or bark like an animal but running on all fours is where they would cross the line.
It’ll be super hard to tell my dad that I am one. I already told my mom and she loves it. My dad literally thinks that furrys walks on all four and eat out of a dog bowl. No idea on what he will think a therian is but he will probably not support it. Edit: y’all are so supportive and brave so I shall give you a tutorial on how to come out as a therian or whatever! ( supported family + unsupported family’s) Supported: you wanna tell em when they’re not busy or in a bad mood. Tell them to follow you to the couch to sit down. You will start to explain what a therian/what you are to your parents ( keep in mind that tell them in an advanced way and tell em why you think you are what you are). Then when they know about it ask em if they support them? ( support them not you ) if they say yes then you can tell em why you think and are one and if they accept you✨ that’s all for supportive family’s. Unsupportive family’s: as the same wait until they’re not busy and in a bad mood. Tell em to follow you to the couch to sit and talk. You want to explain to them what it is and if they support whatever it is. If they say “ are you one? “ then say “ No I just want to know if you support em or not”. Parents knowing about accounts it so important. Especially if you find yourself in a scary situation. Hopefully, they won't stalk your accounts, but if they know about it, they'll be able to help you navigate if you've found yourself in a scary situation. That's so important!!! Thank you for saying that!! I found myself in SO MANY scary situations with really bad people when I was younger online because my parents didn't want me online/didn't know I was online. I didn't tell them about it because I was more scared of getting in trouble than I was of what was happening to me. When I eventually told them they were super open to me talking about what happened. They were upset I broke the rules, but they were more concerned that I had been hurt. As an adult now I seriously hope that younger people online will be more careful with how they interact with others online and are more open to talking with their parents/guardians when things get scary.

Here's what I did to tell my parents I'm a therian! I was on a long walk to pick up something, and we decided not to go by car. I decided that was a good time to tell my mom, and I told her all the jist of a therian. Then I told her my personal experiences. Its just a matter of taking it slow and making sure they understand what a therian really is! It made me feel better knowing that if I act like my true self around her she won't judge, but ofc you don't have to.
I haven't done this yet, but I would say just own it. If people call you a furry, so be it. Make a statement, but make sure you aren't harmed! kids can be cruel.@@tandluca

Yeah I’ve started talking to my mom and saying, “ Hey mom? Did you know that some people walk around like an animal?” She told me said: “Oh, yeah it’s called bear walking. It’s actually really good for your body and can help you exercise” Lol. I also said: “Hey, Momma? I’ve seen videos where people make cardboard animal masks. Do you think I could make some for us? I’ll get a fox one, I love foxes, and I’ll make you guys any animals you want!”
i have hispanic parents so its def gonna be hard so im for sure not gonna tell them, sadly. I usually do quads when Im home alone and the second I hear anything, a car, a door, anything. I instantly take off my mask and my tail and quickly hide them, I also want to start social media but am terrified if friend and family irl find my account😭

Also how to tell your parents about quads (personal experience with strict parents) Say something like “ima try to do a hunting fox jump” and jump. Do that a couple of times then say “I think running will make it easier” and boom you introduced running and jumping. I recommend doing this late at night when everyone is tired. I did this and my dad calls it *pouncing* and I think it’s just hilarious. Now every night I do quads and jumps and when my dad gets home he watched me and cheers me on. I also recommend saying the benefits of quads like how it helps flexibility and strength. If you have really really strict parents maybe don’t say it’s called quads bc they might see it kinda relates to therians and that stuff. They may think know what those are and get mad at you! I hope that helped a little :) 🫶
That’s what I do, lol. But another tip is… if you’re going out for a walk/hike with your parents, and see a steep grassy hill, climb up and down on it using quads, then they’ll just think you’re climbing up that way because it’s too steep

my boyfriend and me didn't use to support therians but I introduced him to your channel, and we've begun to understand more. he's said openly to me that he's a furry, and he said he would be a bit shocked and not know how to react but he'd never break up with me for being a therian. I'm not quite sure what I am but I just love my connection with nature and I feel like I wanna just run through the rivers on all fours.

Lil story on how my parents found out naturally without confrontation I started making masks (of my theriotypes) and my parents thought it was a little weird but overall they eye cool with it After a while I made my TH-cam channel and stated practicing quads they never found out about this Quite recently they caught me sneaking out to do quads, they didn’t stop me but just watched from a distance, over since then they haven’t said anything and it’s been 2 months. I don’t think they really care 😂

I don't think I'll ever be able to tell my family. Most of my family are conservative Christians, and my dad would just think it's wrong and lecture me about it 24/7. It's not that I don't feel safe. I just don't feel like dealing with the hassle and the crap they'll give me when I tell them. I'm just vibing with my therianthropy and the community. I do love this video, tho. You don't see me, a Christian, going up to Muslims and tell them how wrong their religion is (and all the Christians who do do that are wrong for doing so). It’ll be super hard to tell my dad that I am one. I already told my mom and she loves it. My dad literally thinks that furrys walks on all four and eat out of a dog bowl. No idea on what he will think a therian is but he will probably not support it.
Edit: y’all are so supportive and brave so I shall give you a tutorial on how to come out as a therian or whatever! ( supported family + unsupported family’s)
Supported: you wanna tell em when they’re not busy or in a bad mood. Tell them to follow you to the couch to sit down. You will start to explain what a therian/what you are to your parents ( keep in mind that tell them in an advanced way and tell em why you think you are what you are). Then when they know about it ask em if they support them? ( support them not you ) if they say yes then you can tell em why you think and are one and if they accept you✨ that’s all for supportive family’s.
Unsupportive family’s: as the same wait until they’re not busy and in a bad mood. Tell em to follow you to the couch to sit and talk. You want to explain to them what it is and if they support whatever it is. If they say “ are you one? “ then say “ No I just want to know if you support em or not”. If you really wanna do it then go to a place that not many can see or hear you. PLEASE BE CAREFUL ALWAYS even with and without a supportive family. If your younger then PLEASE come out fully no hiding things ( if not personal things ).

Parents knowing about accounts it so important. Especially if you find yourself in a scary situation. Hopefully, they won't stalk your accounts, but if they know about it, they'll be able to help you navigate if you've found yourself in a scary situation. That's so important!!! Thank you for saying that!! I found myself in SO MANY scary situations with really bad people when I was younger online because my parents didn't want me online/didn't know I was online. I didn't tell them about it because I was more scared of getting in trouble than I was of what was happening to me. When I eventually told them they were super open to me talking about what happened. They were upset I broke the rules, but they were more concerned that I had been hurt. As an adult now I seriously hope that younger people online will be more careful with how they interact with others online and are more open to talking with their parents/guardians when things get scary.

Here's what I did to tell my parents I'm a therian!
I was on a long walk to pick up something, and we decided not to go by car. I decided that was a good time to tell my mom, and I told her all the jist of a therian. Then I told her my personal experiences. Its just a matter of taking it slow and making sure they understand what a therian really is! It made me feel better knowing that if I act like my true self around her she won't judge, but ofc you don't have to.

I have very understanding parents (well maybe just my dad) but if I told only one they would tell the other and once I tried telling my mom starting with “ do you know what Therians are?” And she was like “ I need to know what your looking at” and @they are mentally ill” so I can’t tell anyone but maybe when I’m older ❤❤❤ thank you so much

i have hispanic parents so its def gonna be hard so im for sure not gonna tell them, sadly. I usually do quads when Im home alone and the second I hear anything, a car, a door, anything. I instantly take off my mask and my tail and quickly hide them, I also want to start social media but am terrified if friend and family irl find my account😭

Also how to tell your parents about quads (personal experience with strict parents)
Say something like “ima try to do a hunting fox jump” and jump. Do that a couple of times then say “I think running will make it easier” and boom you introduced running and jumping. I recommend doing this late at night when everyone is tired. I did this and my dad calls it *pouncing* and I think it’s just hilarious. Now every night I do quads and jumps and when my dad gets home he watched me and cheers me on. I also recommend saying the benefits of quads like how it helps flexibility and strength. If you have really really strict parents maybe don’t say it’s called quads bc they might see it kinda relates to therians and that stuff. They may think know what those are and get mad at you! I hope that helped a little :) 🫶
That’s what I do, lol. But another tip is… if you’re going out for a walk/hike with your parents, and see a steep grassy hill, climb up and down on it using quads, then they’ll just think you’re climbing up that way because it’s too steep

my boyfriend and me didn't use to support therians but I introduced him to your channel, and we've begun to understand more. he's said openly to me that he's a furry, and he said he would be a bit shocked and not know how to react but he'd never break up with me for being a therian. I'm not quite sure what I am but I just love my connection with nature and I feel like I wanna just run through the rivers on all fours.

Lil story on how my parents found out naturally without confrontation
I started making masks (of my theriotypes) and my parents thought it was a little weird but overall they eye cool with it
After a while I made my TH-cam channel and stated practicing quads they never found out about this
Quite recently they caught me sneaking out to do quads, they didn’t stop me but just watched from a distance, over since then they haven’t said anything and it’s been 2 months. I don’t think they really care 😂
I told my mum and dad this way and my dad said awww cool. Then he got me 5 masks😮❤❤❤ I love my parents who agrees?

I don't think I'll ever be able to tell my family. Most of my family are conservative Christians, and my dad would just think it's wrong and lecture me about it 24/7. It's not that I don't feel safe. I just don't feel like dealing with the hassle and the crap they'll give me when I tell them. I'm just vibing with my therianthropy and the community. I do love this video, tho.
