Jessica was abducted from her home in the early morning of February 24, 2005, by a man named John Couey, a 46-year-old convicted sex offender who lived nearby. Jessica’s father Mark had a son in 2007 and he shares the same birthday as Jessica! It’s like a sign from God ❤️
I looked up Mark and he is receiving treatment for his cancer, Lymphoma. But he’s still working so hopefully his strength will get him through this. God bless you for putting roses 🌹 on her grave and for sharing Jessica’s story with us.
I remember this case. I think that child molesters should be imprisoned for life. Poor little girl. Thank you for remembering her. I hope that her Dad is ok.
The interview with Jessica's father was so sad. He loved that little girl. He suffers deeply. He's a broken man.
I couldn't help but notice Ron's voice breaking, when he talked about Jessica's fingers poking through that plastic bag. I understand you, Ron.
Ron, I was just reading that Mark's girlfriend gave birth to a boy on October 6, 2007. Mark said that God's given him a second chance at parenthood.
This happened 10 minutes away from me growing up, my dad knew her dad. They lived in the same exact model mobile home I did, and Jessica’s room was the same room I slept in at my house. I wouldn’t sleep in my room for years after this out of fear I would be kidnapped and murdered as well, it was horrible. The sadness was felt in the air for a long time after this and still is now in certain areas. RIP Jessica 💔🙏🏼❤️
What angers me is that while they were interrogating the father and grandfather, they could have been looking for that baby girl and possibly saved her life.
Heard about this terrible case and it still makes me tear up, just an awful tragedy. Rest in peace sweet Jessica 💜💜💜and my sincerest condolences to the family

This story still breaks my heart. Me and my husband met Archie and Ruthie a few years ago and I'll never forget that day. I saw a big picture of Jessica in the living room and they showed me her room with all her things still in it. They were still so upset after all these years and It broke my heart watching Archie so sad. It never left him. I walked down the stairs thinking omg this is the same way they went that night and it creeped me out. And to top it all off they gave our daughters some of her bears. 😭 I felt sooo bad accepting them....I have prayed for them everyday since that day. Noone should ever have to go through what they went through....
I was in two minds whether to carry on listening when you said "this is your last warning", but I thought "this little girl went through something awful, the least I can do is listen to what happened her". That poor little girl, the thought of what she went through breaks my heart and for her poor family. "Rest in peace little Angel".
This case broke my heart at the time and continues to do so. You’re right, Ron … we must keep the fire burning for Jessica. I vividly recall her distressed father’s painful pleas for the return of his daughter. Completely heart wrenching. I’ll never forget this sweet little soul. To lose a child that was so wanted in such a horrific manner is unfathomable. Jessica, I will never forget you or your father. Thanks to Ron, all of us will continue to remember you. I'm from Citrus Springs (in Citrus County). I remember this all happening. And it broke my heart. Everybody was looking for her. So many people walking through woods,down streets,in buildings, etc calling her name. As a community, looking for 1 of our own.

As a SA survivor and a human being it made me cry to know the full story of Jessica. What a Monster her killer was. Dying in jail wasn't even good enough for him. I have heard her story here in Australia as I recognise her beautiful face from the news back then. On a lighter note,her father became a warrior for her and I'm grateful he has helped change the laws for predators,making it harder for them to be around children . My deepest condolences to Jessica's family. May she rest in eternal peace 🎉❤️❤️
This is one of the most heartbreaking and tragic stories I've ever heard. Incidentally more needs to be done in FL. I used to live in FL and it seems that there are a number of registered sex offenders but I have also run into one who was convicted of felony child abuse via a plea deal and so is not registered on FL Registry. And he is allowed to be on social media. His name is Thomas Biddinger from Commerce Michigan and he resides in FL and his case # is with Pasco County. If you live in FL contact your state legislature and get laws changed, this guy here is not on the registry because of a plea deal and he's still allowed to get on the Internet. FL has a lot more work to do. Thank you for putting this video out. May this Child of God, Jessica rest in Peace.
