This song really hit me in the feelings and made me very emotional. Do you have any favourite songs that makes you happy, sad, angry, hopeful or any other feelings?
Thanks for the info about the music and lyrics. I didn't see that information where I look. Where's the best place to find information about BAND-MAID? And yes, it's a lovely song. 🤘❤️🔥
@FranksReactions Frank, the credits just say Band-Maid, but on X and in interviews, Saiki was researching once forbidden songs that have made a comeback ( so to speak ). She realized that long after an artist has left this world, their music will endear and hoped Band-Maids music will inspire others long into the future.
I haven't read through the comments and not sure anybody has addressed this but Saiki had been asking Kanami for a song that had a big dynamic range. And yes Kanami had recently suffered the loss of her grandmother and the results were Forbidden Tales, Letters to You snd The One which had her composing with a grander scale pondering life But Saki had written the lyrics to Forbidden Tales independent of Kanami's thoughts. It just so happens she was so moved by the music that it had her thinking on a grander scale as well. She's stated in an interview that there are songs that were forbidden to be sung in the past and that now with technology are able to be heard and was inspired by that and thiught sbout the future when Band-Maid was no longer around but that perhaps their music would inspire another musical artist in the future and how that chain of inspiration goes on and connects them all in a way. Epic!
Great reaction and a lot of us got emotional at the end of this song. During the last third and once the gang vocals kick in and the orchestration opened up it just elevated this song into a new level. Thanks for reacting to Band-Maid.
Thank you for appreciating my reaction. This one really hit me hard. But I guess you would have to be dead not to react to this one. And more Band-Maid will be coming up. 🤘❤️
I think many have had the same emotional impact from this song. When you are moved by music...then you know you're listening to great music. Thanks for continuing with the Maids. There's so much more to come from this album. Looking forward to new MV and new reactions. PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘 BTW..subbed...#700!!!
I get moved by music also when listen to it in a normal way, but I've found it happens a lot more and stronger when I react to a song. I think it is before I really sit down and concentrate on the lyrics, the song and the video, and not being preoccupied with other things. And also, it helps when the music is this good. I can promise you more Band-Maid coming up. That's a 💯 guarantee. And congrats on being #700! 🤘❤️🔥 I appreciate it very much. I wasn't really expecting many, so it's crazy and humbling that so many have done it. Hopefully it's just a start and we'll be many more, even if this is just something I do for fun and hopefully some entertainment.
Masterful songwriting and storytelling 🔥❤️ For me..Kanami is the greatest musician and composer of our time ❤️ For me..Band-Maid -Greatest band of our time 🔥❤️ Thank you for great reaction 🙏🏻🤘🇫🇮
The songs already released earlier in the year are just Band-Maid awesomesauce! The six new songs are so tightly integrated and complex, it's going to take a Tokyo minute to assimilate. But I already love Forbidden Tale, and especially The One. 😉🤘 btw - We should all wish a "Good Luck" to Band-Maid's new self-run management company: Maidit, Co., LTD! Will they managing other bands, boost Cluppo and Maiko projects, or tour more internationally? Or maybe they will expand their business interest to other sectors of the music biz outside of Band-Maid. I believe Kanami wants to get more into composing, scoring and production. And as for Miku and Saiki, the sky's the limit for what they'll want to do in merch, fashion and art, etc.. Thx, Frank!
Tokyo minute!?! That's a new one for me. Please explain? But otherwise, agree on everything you say. It's an exciting future with the new company and all the options that brings. Hopefully they'll build sustainably, but they've been in the business so long that I think they know what they're doing. 🤘❤️
@@FranksReactions You haven't heard of, "A New York minute," Frank? Or are you jiving me? Anyway, in case you were serious... New York is a place where there's so much going on, that a minute can feel like hours or days. Well, Tokyo is much larger and more populous than New York. So my meaning is... it will take some time (a Tokyo minute... you know, where the Maids work) for me to play and understand the six new songs from Epic Narratives. 😉
@@TomClark-Futoura No, I wasn't kidding. My mind blanked at it when I read it, but when you mentioned it I have heard about it. I blame age, and also that I'm Norwegian ;) And yes, I agree. It's always a good idea to sit down and listen to a new album and avoid other disturbances when doing that.

The best rock band in history.
I haven't seen or heard them all, but these women are surely high on the list. 🤘❤️
Kanami wrote the music, and Saiki wrote the lyrics. Beautiful song !!

Beautiful reaction. You got it. You captured the feelings and emotions behind the song.
Thank you! Yeah, this reaction got real emotional, real quick. 🤘❤️

Saiki is a great singer. Miku is a great singer. But when they sing together it's magic
True, their voices really match up in the nicest way. 🤘❤️

Thank you for appreciating my reaction. Really means a lot to me.
And yes, the song is pretty great with how it's built up and always progresses. 🤘❤️
That's some pretty big statements. But I find it hard to disagree. 🤘😏

The shadow hands eminds me of the painting on the ceiling of Sistene chapel
@@johancoetser906 Absolutely! I didn't remember where it was from, but it must be inspired by that painting.
