- Today we're taking a look at the current Hydrapple ex deck list I've been running and some gameplay with it! I feel like there are changes that could be made, but this is what we're working with right now! The entire deck list can be found here! www.pkmn.gg/de...

In my Hydrapple deck I put in the single prize Toedscruel that prevents my opponent from getting cards from their discard pile to their hand by a trainer card or ability and the Toedscruel Ex to counter phantom dive. Then I got a 1-1 of Hisuian Lilligant V/Vstar to help find some grass Pokemon and energies
Very nice!
I think it works a lot better with Hisuian Lilligant VSTAR. I'm playing 2-2 Lilligant and 3-1-2 Hydrapple, and it's always the priority to setup the Lilligant first (ideally you TM:Evo a Lilligant and an Applin). Then Lilligant can get the Hydrapple, Ogerpons, and/or energy. It even hits for 230 easily with the Ripening Charge acceleration.
Yeah this list was super bare bones to get things started. That's really sick though, I might have to give that a try!
Hydrapple ex is easily my new favourite deck. Still haven't pulled a single hydrapple ex though so that's fun
I've got three hydrapple, but no ogerpons to play them with =(
Noooo, if it's not one it's the other it seems 😭
The 90 hp dipplin actually has major significance. you can instant win against most basic ex deck if you go first and evolve a single applin and your opponent has no evolution pokemon to attack with.
I mean, fair lol. But I don't see that single win condition coming up a ton honestly. Most decks don't play *exclusively* basic ex Pokemon and have some sort of answer to this. I can see it giving you a few extra turns to set up though, perhaps.
@@PokeDubzTCG most raging bolt and iron thorns lists only run basics. If you can get the early set up its pretty much an instant win. I haven't seen many decks tech for this.
@pocketdreamau nah the raging bolt lists are usually playing the sandy shocks. I mean it’s a good theory but I don’t see this being a common win condition.
This would be really funny against iron thorns though 🤣🤣. Might have to try that
@@PokeDubzTCG Sandy shocks is a basic though, it works against any basic pokemon not just ex. Works against ancient box too if they aren't running roaring moon ex.
I love the art on the hydrapple
For real! The Hydrapple is such a good one
On my way to Louisville 2 hrs away
