During a performance, it's important for the reactors to be fully immersed in their performance and for viewers not to be distracted. The audio should not overlap I suppose. And if he's agreed to react to a specific artist's performance, shouldn't he at least have a basic understanding of them? Like, have I reacted to them before? If so, how many times and what songs? What were my impressions at the time? Basic information like their nationality should be known beforehand. Imagine if someone asked you, a South African, if you were American or British. It wouldn't feel great, right? Especially if he's not a music expert. If he wants to be completely unbiased, then don't make comments like "Is she Filipino?". Finally, this artist has a unique religious background. If you want to share your feelings about the lyrics or the song, you should try to understand the double meanings and ambiguities that are common in her lyrics. Those lyrics might not be just a ballad; they might be also her way of expressing her feelings to God. Am I asking too much?
