Naomi you are a good teacher for us we have benefited a lot from you we thank you 100% continue this spirit. I have shared your channel with different WhatsApp groups for civil engineering students they appreciated, so taking off questions carries huge marks in exam time plz don't stop it do alot of questions about septic tank, stairs and other critical questions that can come in knec exam
Thanks alot Siyat for your kind words and more for for sharing our videos.I am encouraged.I will keep bringing more videos for you friends. Thanks again
Also you said that we should use the centerline of the spread when calculating for soil reinstated not using the external dimensions and this is from following all the other examples plus introductory videos
I love your work though this example had many errors, another was on the form work when you add 3/200 + 2000 + 4000 it doesn’t give 7000 for the internal width
I think there was a problem with coming up with the length and width for the excavated soil using the centerline method because why are using 11000 when that includes the spread yet we want the centerline of the brickwork and also the width has an issue compared to all the other examples
in this example we used a different ans simpler method to calculate centreline.whatever method you choose to use,the end result should be the same.Kindly check out our video of calculating centre line and you will understand better
while calculating the center line, you are supposed to use the thickness of the wall but you used 600 as the thickness or it is me who is not understanding
I used 600 which is the width of the trench because the wall at the centre of the trench. Thus, the centreline of the trench is the same as the centreline of the wall.
You are good teacher but you have to listen to yourself first before posting the video...I am trying to follow you buh you are not accurate with some dimensions

Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. I appreciate your effort and may Almighty God bless you 🙏
Kindly share our videos with your classmates
Thanks for the compliment.God bless you too for the support
Because some calculate the centreline as 2(11000+7000)-4(600)=33600
For sure I have viewed it also
Wonderful video,so helpful
Thank you so much ❤️
So please I don't know why and understand why your centreline reduced to 6000 for the width
Me too
Well teaching thanks so much sister
You are very much welcome.

There are two formulas but the end result should be the same.kindly note the difference.
Thank you so much we appreciate you
Hey Naomi kindly do one theory on measurement and Estimation pls.we apreciate for the one you did on 2018.thanks
This would really help
@@eddahwaititu5317 sure kwanza niko na knec nov civil Eng
Noted. Will prepare for this asap. Thanks for watching. Kindly refer us to your friends.
Take us through taking off plumbing works please
Alright Denis,I will.keep tuned
I love your work though this example had many errors, another was on the form work when you add 3/200 + 2000 + 4000 it doesn’t give 7000 for the internal width
formwork is usually done to the external dimensions of length and width as its purpose is to hold concrete which includes the walls
This is very good
Thanks so much
Please check the centreline again for us ❤
Thanks very much, what about take off of column and bases
We have a video on that.. kindly check out our playlist on taking off sub-structure works
Can you help me with a retaining wall video
Its good i got much from you. Can i get some pfds of these i print for more understanding
Yes..Kindly join our whatsapp group ..we always share the materials over there
@@easyqs share the link
Kindly if you don't mind do a retaining wall taking off knec 2020 June/July ,,please I have this paper on 19th
I did a video on retaining wall.Hope you saw it.
Helpnwith finish taking off❤

thumbs up
Thank you so much.
I have learnt so much in your lectures, I knew nothing in taking off but now am at least 60%. Thanks so much.
I can see the first 400 u added wall but im lost for the second 400

Can you do estimation for module 3 building/civil engineering plz Naomi

How do I type a question before asking for solution
Congrats
Thanks
Kindly, when calculating width centerline of trench isn't it 5800 instead of 6000? Thanks
Kindly let me know how you achieved this.We also have a video on how to calculate centreline..kindly what it and confirm you have got it right
why does the width of the structure go from 7,000 to 6,00 but the length remains at 11,000?
Probably while calculating the centreline, you are supposed to use the 7000.. as the width and not 6000
I have a question kindly
Kindly ask
You made an error in calculating center line the width was supposed to be 7000 not 6000
Kindly let me know how you achieved this.
Made centreline calculation harder
Sorry,That's actually the easiest way to find centre lines. You just need to practice and you will surely love it.
