I’m almost done making this. For the bolts I used small foam balls and cut them in half. The craze glue on the foam had a chemical reaction that help make them look worn down, so that was a bonus. Thank you so much for the video. My son is excite to wear this.
Usually I just hold my rulerdown on my edge, lock my wrist at the angle I want, and pull. Punished Props and Cosplay Apprentice have great tutorial videos on foamsmithing basics
@amandaclark111 locking my wrist at the angle and pulled through. I have lots of practice so it looks easy in the video. You could also buy angle holders or mat cutters that hold the blade at set angles. I've ever seen people cut a small block of wood at a 45 and strapped a blue to it. If all else fails, you could also get it closer to the angle you want by sanding it with a rotatory tool
🤣 my head is ginormous and I am a pretty large person in general. Everything I build is scaled to fit me, at 6' 3", and a 24 inch around head, you definitely want to scale it to yourself. Glad the build was helpful
