A few people have asked how much I paid for the car and how much I sold it for. I paid £13k or £13.5 recovered home after fuel, coffee, food, recovery etc I spent a lot of money on the car New suspension £900 New wheels. £600 New full interior £1200 (with new seat foam, van hire, fuel etc) Full new fuel system with new fuel tank, fuel pump, fuel loom, fuel hoses, clips etc £1000 There must easily be another £3-4k in other small parts, paint, new badges, new lights, new bolts, oils, filters, hoses, cables, etc. I then sold the car for £20k. So I maybe broke even. Probably lost a little if I’m honest, but I had fun doing it. 🤩
Love these videos. Such a refreshing change from the usual TH-camrs with unobtainable cars and adverts trying to sell you meal replacement shakes every 5 minutes. Top work 👍🏻
Yeah the thing with Adam is we can see the amount of hard work he puts into restoring them back to how they should be and I am sure we don't even see half of the stuff he actually does. If he resells any of these all I'd do is say "Here's my channel" showing him working on them, it's the best advertisement and peace of mind there is for anyone buying these restored versions. Adam is such a genuine guy. 🙂
Adam, You might be aware but ringers back in the day (90s) were very cute at welding in correctly stamped floor numbers. So good even when the paint was removed around the stamp you could hardly see the weld. Highlighting the weld using dye penetrant was able to show whether the stamp area had been changed. Always check every glass panel for etching, and remove any stickers on them, as Ive seen them with etched windows with the original reg no hidden with stripes/alarm stickers etc. I don't doubt you know your'e way around with motors, wouldnt want you getting caught out mate. Amazing skills your detailer has , very impressive. It didnt look that dirty.
Fair bloody play to you Adam lad you worked ya knackers off on that Cosworth, and it definitely showed once you had finished. Blimey what a transformation!!! 😮
Great watch Adam the car amazingly had very little actual corrosion that was really interesting..lot of time effort and hard work put in..although not full restoration you did a fantastic job fella..well done 👍
Already watched all your individual videos on the restoration. This compilation shows what a great job you’ve done. Some useful stuff in there on where to source parts and tackle some of the smaller cosmetic jobs as well.
Fairplay to you Adam for taking these projects on. Keeping them on the road is the most important thing. And hopefully make a few quid along the way. Thanks for the content. 👍
Was good seeing this recap of the restoration, I like when you mention paint booth and then show pic of shed 😂, your content just gets better every time Adam 👍
Hi Adam, nice work by your self. I have pased that to. For little metal parts, try to consider to bring them on yellow zinc coating. It is cheap, also it is very good protection and it looks very nice. Just continue rescuing that cars and give them love. They are in good hands 👍
Some of that grey raptor chassis sealer would be a great addition to the Escort RS. A lot of hard work put into the Sierra restoration and content updates thanks Adam.
Maximum respect to you Adam you put in the hard craft in and made the car look a million dollars, I wanted to speak to you at the car show at the NEC keep up the good work really enspiering mate😊
I'm not particularly into Cosworths and I'm not technically minded, but your engaging content and enthusiasm is a pleasure to watch. It's great to see your projects come along and I appreciate how you put your cars back to stock as best you can. Great stuff.
First time watching your work, mate, and what a joy it was ! Your attention to detail is awesome 👌 👏. The car horn section was hysterical 😆 🤣 like something that happens to me . Top drawer, mate .
Brilliant video... steering wheel fitting was funny... loved the darker clusters... needs a private plate... overall beautiful project... made it look easy.... Give ova man!
Your an inspiration to me girlfriends brother to start getting my xr2i off flats and give him a project for the winter months.. ill be there kettle in hand k-riz in the other;)

At 11 minutes and 40 seconds....... Back in the day someone was parked up the backroads listening to Bonkers looking cool on his TSW Hockenheim Rs and just as he was about to make a Jamaican cigarette he lost his last smoke somewhere down the side of the seat.
I remember getting noshed off while driving by my first wife back in the 90's, it was all rather pleasant as far as I can recall. Love the channel. 👍👍👍👍👍
Remember watching the build of this from start was an amazing transformation you done Adam.sad you got rid of it but then again you got the escort cossie which will be amazing when you get your the bottom of the niggles with it 👊🏻👊🏻👍🏽👍🏽
In terms of content I think this is your best video yet Adam, was made up when you started restoring the underneath, few quirks in the edit lol like a harmonica playing when you were spraying the underside, your voice over was very quiet in some places or it was only coming out of the right speaker as I only had my left headphone in. But yeah great video Adam and loved the format and the length well done and thank you.
I really enjoy your videos Adam. Been watching since you got the escort. Refitting the horn to the cosy was too funny! Did you salvage and restore the whole fuel pump bracket on the Cosy??
Was the 4x4 a better car? Is that what had the leather interior, etc? .. you didn't have an amazing job on that, mate 👏 it just shows what you cam achieve with hard graft and patience
I have a photo of me in a white Cossie at the launch in the secc motor show,,Linda lusardi was launching the Mazda MX-5,I much preferred a photo in the Cossie🤟😎🤟
How much did cost to restore & how much did you sell it for. We were all waiting for the costs. We ain't gonna judge ya Adam weather you made money or not, it's just nice to know these things isn't it. ✌🏼

I remember back around 1999 going to see a white one near me in Scotland, the dealer wanted 7k for it, it was a total shed so I walked away and bought an Audi A4
We have all been there. Back in the day I went and looked at an E30 M3 for sale at 5k. Bought a newer E36 325i convertible instead..... what a divvy
