Getting kissed 10 times in LasVegas and talking to him. Also , he used my handkerchief to wipe his face. He was even more handsome in person and smelled divine (I think he favored Brút at that time, 1970). Best memories of being 21.❤❤❤❤

Been a fan since 1956, I am 80 years old. Saw two of his concerts and it was unbelievable. He was even more beautiful in person. There will never be anyone of his caliber. He was an amazing performer who loved his fans. So many don't know about his generous side check out "Elvis Presley A Generous Heart". Or " Elvis Presley King of Kindness". On youtube, thanks for your great reaction.

One of my faves is "Just Pretend" from 1970 LasVegas. Anything from that year or 1972, or 68 Special is 🔥🔥🔥

It’s so hard to pick one song as my favorite because his voice and unique interpretation of all his songs makes all of them my favorites. My number one is If I can dream and 2nd Trying to get to you. I also like Crawfish from his third movie King Creole. All his specials were iconic but what made me fall in love was his first appearances on TV. His music was different than anything that came before. He had the good looks and sexiness that drew you in to his soul.

@@chlooeeeexo There are TWO versions of this song so you'll need the GOOD one which is at th-cam.com/video/z-NgDbK9N6g/w-d-xo.html -- the difference is that Elvis recites a little poem before he sings, which makes a big difference -- the other version is where someone stupidly omitted that little poem -- which makes no sense for someone to delete it -- that poem is part of the whole experience so if you're going to do it, pls make sure to do this one. Maybe the person who suggested it doesn't know about the difference.
THE STORY BEHIND THIS SONG: The name of this heartfelt poem is by Mary Torrans Lathrap (1838-1895) & was originally titled "Judge Softly" when she wrote it in 1895, and later became known by its most famous and quoted line "Walk a Mile in His Moccasins." Some information states that it is attributed to the conditions of Native American tribes but the poem is due to Mary Lathrap's direct contact with various Native Americans both on and off the Indian Reservations. Knowing this information you can understand why hearing Elvis speak it makes sense -- it is more than just a song -- there is deep meaning to it. Thanks.

Jane H … This is one of my favourites, & I love the little smiles Elvis gives as he’s singing it, because he knows that he’s a napalm bomb, guaranteed to blow your mind. Just subbed to your channel, to see more Elvis Reactions. Enjoying your Elvis Reactions & hope to see many more. I’ve been a big fan for almost sixty years now. Fever is a great song from this Aloha from Hawaii 1973 Live Concert, & he is obviously enjoying the reactions by many of the ladies. He could still make them scream even though he was 38 when he did this concert, & you can see that it amuses him as much as it did when the ladies started screaming when he was 19 in 1954, & just starting out.

THAT RAMP from the STAGE: Producer/director Marty Pasetta told Parker (Elvis' manger) that he wanted to build a ramp for Elvis to walk out onto & Parker said no. Pasetta explained that it would be 8 ft. wide & Elvis could stay in the middle or go to the left or to the right if he wanted to (because Pasetta knew how important the audience was to Elvis), but Parker still said no. Fortunately, Pasetta was able to meet w-Elvis & he explained exactly what he told Parker. Fortunately again, Elvis overrode Parker & told Pasetta to build the ramp. Paseta told Elvis he wanted him to lose 25 lbs., which Elvis did. Elvis then hugged Pasetta & said you are one of the few people who has been totally honest w-me. Without that ramp the concert would have been very different if Elvis did not have the option to get in close touch w-the audience. This concert was A BENEFIT TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE KUI LEE CANCER FUND & it raised $75,000. Elvis bought his own ticket for $1,000 & did not make any money from it. The amount of people in the audience was said to be 8,800.
The water throwing incident 1972 Hampton Roads, Virginia when at the very, very start of the video Elvis called out “Please Release Me” but the band began playing “I Can’t Stop Loving You” - he didn’t stop them, he went right into the song, he then walked over to his glass of water, picked it up & playfully threw it at Glen @ piano -- a fun, energetic, powerhouse th-cam.com/video/LNtP5Gd8QGE/w-d-xo.html -- just make sure you hear him say Please Release Me & then the water incident will make sense. Also notice his slightly irritated look at the beginning. This is Elvis w-a slightly deeper, richer voice.

@@marion_R And thank you so much! I think it makes it a little interesting & El a bit more real when there's some background history where possible; the issue tho' becomes problematic sometimes because there is a lot of misinformation & untruths so it can sometimes be difficult to know what's true & what isn't. There are just a very few people who I feel are honest, one being Pasetta, the other Steve Binder, producer-director of the '68 special; he was one of the most upstanding, ethical people in the business, & Jerry Schilling. I'm leery of the others due to some contradictions of stories they related. At any rate, thanks again & have a nice Holiday.

Carter & dozens more w-wonderful comments th-cam.com/video/F3VFsJ8jupo/w-d-xo.html.
