Sorry, but I never left this northlane.. the only positive spiritual metal I connected with. So positive, holding yourself accountable, and talking about human potential. I’ll never stop practicing harsh vocals in the shower to this lol🙌🏼💕💕
Same here! I hate to be that guy that stops following a band because a vocalist left. But honestly didn't vibe releases post Adrian. And I think it was something about the lyrical content that I just really related too
I just love how natural Adrian is, and how true he stays to himself.
You will be missed Adrian!
:(
Yeah they just ain't the same.. still good band but they were one of my favs
17:50
man thats what i love about little shows.. nice people there, very friendly crowd
7:30 SET ME FREE! #Achievementunlocked
Wow, Powerful! That is what real frontman are all about! I felt like he really had a message to share a meaning and he looks like a really cool dude it sucks that he's not in the band anymore.
Marco Polo he such a nice guy. i wonder what's Adrian doing after left Northlane.
I don't know in an interview he said that he was really interested in Egypt and all its secrets so idk, he might study in that :P
Marco Polo He's studying Psychology right now.
Oh cool! :) Happy for him
+Marco Polo Following in Graham Hancocks footsteps haha
They are one of the very few bands who can perform live and sound fucking perfect! Hell yeah!!!! Now that's fucking talent!
Man I miss Adrian. Northlane just ain't the same. Still great band but when adrian was vocalist they were in my fav list
He was great on studio and superior compared to Marcus hands down but his live performances (specially this one) is just so painful to watch
There first album after Adrian was pretty good alien wasn’t bad either
I have to disagree. Adrian didn't have range. He's awesome, don't get me wrong. But what Marcus brings to the table opened so many doors.
I love both Marcus and Adrian, just Adrian era was more violent
@@marcounnamed Dude the mix sounds like shit, it isn't representative of how it sounded to the people in the crowd. The instruments are super quiet above all.
7:30 NAILED IT!
quentin tarantino on drums?
Luis Espiritu just laughed so hard
+Luis Espiritu lmfaoooo
exactly, similar kind of genius
Ahaha, very funny, man :DD
7:30 gave me chills
It made me cringe
Lol that gave u chills ,!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS UPLOAD.
That amity affliction vest!
I loved the set list, loved the show, love Northale... and also loved the Title Fight song in the background
Lol, dude at 7:30 nailed it.
"ruhhrawr!"
Brupppffffttt!
Dudes shit at screaming lol
"Atmahfruh!"
fucking lol
that fkn drummer is a bloody train
Yeah, Quentin Tarantino is a great drummer.
watching this really puts into perspective how far Jon and Josh have came with their live tone and how crazily good it has progressed.
Eternally grateful for this and the resurrection fest recording
5:52 dat fuckin ride.. I know that feeling bro.
One of the best live bands in this genre ever! Please come to Pittsburgh
lowkey makes me cry to hear adrians vocals giving out... i wish i could've seen him live even during his last weeks with his voice practically gone. though he knew it wasn't healthy to continue he probably also left due to knowing the band couldn't continue on with him and he had to hand over the controls to someone who could bring them forward rather than hold him back. i love adrian and marcus equally, they both stand for amazing things, have amazing vocals overall fit the place of northlanes frontman. he will always be remembered as the vocalist because of all the time and effort he put into making the band amazing, but it was a crucial step for him to leave. though it isn't easy for anyone and many people talked down on marcus, i think we all secretly know that it was best for adrian to leave the band. nonetheless we all should love him for his working and love marcus for the work he's putting forward.
Why did his vocals give out ? He sounds like was perfect at the technique
@@_s_u_n_n_y_ his technique was actually pretty bad. he found such a good sound that it seems he prioritised scream quality over technique. you can hear between hollow existence and discoveries he stops with alot of the harsher screams, presumably in an effort to preserve his voice but his vocal cords simply couldnt handle the fry
Nah my biggest pet peeve is the live mixing, some parts dont sound as big as they could because you can hardly hear the second guitar at parts or the bass.
Amazing band
hey man, very nice set, the sound is pretty good and i like your way of cutting! Well done mate! :)
Daddy is feeling uncomfortable being the front crowd
great live man
Saw them in Winnipeg. Their shows are unreal. I would love to see them again in the US.
That set list though!🔥🔥🔥🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Great sound and good vocal
OOHHH OKAY THAANK YOU
I love that Title Fight at the end. :)
Great show, like you would always expect from Northlane. :)
I'm a fan of this band, and I meet then just some day ago
Esse show é registro histórico.
seeing these guys in WI tomorrow!!
That's me crowd surfing at 17:28 haha! Amazing show, thanks for the upload!
THE TRUTH IS WE ALL SUFFER.
That drum spin at 0:33 was NUTS!!!!
Northlane doesn't fall under djent. They have created their own sound. They may not sound perfect live but that's not what matters. Looks like everyone that night, including the band, had a blast. That's what matters.
such a kick ass show
awesome vibes
Northlane's #1 fan!
@10:50 "they watch us, from above!" all canadians look up above haha its amazing :)
Bring back this northlane
the crowd screaming "what i never" at 26:18 gave me chills, i love it
YES
I love Adrain recorded and I love his lyrics. But his definitely was holding back the band performance wise. Hopefully their new singer will help them progress a little more.
i'd seen other people comment on youtube about how he's a bit lacking live, and if this is any indication to how he usually sounds, then i'd agree. there's just no heart in it. he sounds amazing recorded though, do agree.
Well if you had read his reason for leaving the band then you should understand why he might have sounded weak
Jordan Steiner I did. Completely understandable reason and makes sense to why he sounded like he did.
i guess this was probably one of their last shows with him? if so, that makes total sense.
No idea i would assume it could've been. He sounds fatigued for sure but not bad imo
the drums sound flippen sick!
are you a Mormon?
I know man its killing me. THEY NEED TO COME NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I get hyped just with the intro! Lol
Dispossession was sick!
this is so fucking awesome and that old dude in the front is awesome too.
Singularity is pretty close to being my album of the year. Anyone else think so? :D
fuck yea that album is fucking sick
there was just something more soulful and human with this line up. rip northlane imo
0:40 "BLEURGH!"
Damned, Adrian was a fucking hero!
Didn't realize that Jacob from Trailer Park Boys drummed for Northlane!
iPlayGames YO I WAS JUST THINKING THAT lolol
I’ve just discovered this comment and I can’t unsee our lanky alien idiot
Fucking sick, I love it.
At the end.. not one hand went untouched. Thats respect
adrians lyrics!!! fuuck!!! so good!
20:18 Nic is dying
Haha
They're playing their latest album "singularity" in order
R.I.P
Wow northlane is mad live
Adrian come back ples
So sad these guys will only be in a portion of the American Dream tour :(
that amity jersey doe...
Sometimes I see Adrian in my dreams 😊
I would sell my soul to be there
i fucking love the drummer, he may keep it simplistic, but his drums sound so spot on
Travis Vick as a drummer of 16 years, he most definitely does not keep it that simplistic haha
they seem smooth but fuck does he ever do alot
Anomaly doesn't overdrum but everything still so techy
Travis Vick Keeps it simplistic? Nic is one of the most technical drummers in the hardcore scene haha
Nothing about Nic Pettersons drumming is simplistic.
I mean simplistic as in not too dense with random shit hes straight forward and hard hitting
Maybe I came a little bit late but do any of you know what guitar is Josh playing???
Northlane
2019! i miss old northlane. 💓
momon xxx I wish Adrian didn’t mess his voice up :(
Do you have the Texas In July set as well? Great upload by the way!
14:14 omg i love that fill.. !
the guitars were so fucked up during that fill lol
People need to start realizing that Adrian chose to leave because his vocals started to give out overall. I mean it's one thing if it happens in the middle of a set, but you can hear that he's already giving out on the very first song. Plus, the rest of the band wanted to change their style as well, which Adrian wasn't really suited for, so he left
Your so right..... after I come accross northlane marcus just took over..... and I have to say that nic john alex n josh have always crushed it.... so with marcus...... took the band to unbelievable heights to the point where not only sn aria in 2017 but I have to say the best band ever live.... and will by 16 show next week
Diabolis but Adrian gave up ..
@@ajcameron7764 I don't think that new guy is nearly on Adrian's level from a creative perspective. He is probably better as a performer, since that was not Adrian's strong suit, but his writing and Northlane in general is not nearly as good as they used to be.
Keep in mind I'm coming from a big fan of proggy/technical metal, so don't take it too personally.
@@decimater75 I prefer Northlane with Adrian than with Marcus.
I believe he knew the right technique but something happened, he even knows Melissa cross and so it means he had lessons with her
Maybe it's just the tour life that teared him apart, singing every day it's possible I do vocals from scream, gutturals and everything you know for a couple of hours but. I know for sure that if I drink too much or too often, smoke pot/ cigs or if I talk to much on a day, it will affect my body and eventually my voice.
Being able to do this is just like training for a run, you must prepare yourself and keep your training adjustments overtime.
It's just a big fan ahaha but yeah respect that dude for sure!! Northlane is so awesome!
they are :D
what did josh give that dude at 18:15?
Kame Hame Ha at 2:48?
the setlist
He is the father of a band member or a big fan of Northlane? Respect him!
Jesus Christ, this is fucking epic
Can't wait to see them in February with Of Mice & Men and Bring Me The Horizon.
title fight at the end of the video lmfao!!!
I know that know body wants my opinion so I’m going to give it. Marcus is a much more solid and grounded live vocal performer. That being said Adrian had very introspective lyrics rather than the more direct type of lyrics that Node had. I much prefer Mesmer to node for this reason. I’m excited for what’s to come and happy with everything Northlane has come up with so far.
like transcending dimensions
Much respect for Marcus, but these were the real northlane for me...
They are, with Veil of Maya and Structures
Why this vocal exchange to marcus?
holy shit 11:28 gave me chills.
Yes. However in my own opinion I think they should of played more songs from Discoveries.
They play newer stuff, like any other bands that just release an album and aren't headlining ( short set )
Love the older dude right in the front.
That stick tricks at 00.30
pls adrian
Wish Adrian would stop that annoying switching between screaming and talking... sometimes it sounds good but it does it like throughout this whole performance
lool title fight at the end
Nic
Lows are good but he cant perform his mids at all live
Strange setlist. I would of thought they'd play Abrasumente, Corruption and Aspire =/
