Very true. Say what you will about Halo: Reach; it was the last great Halo game, before 343 Industries took over. When Halo 5: Guardians turned out to be such a massive disappointment, I went back to Halo: Reach.

You know one that could easily portray a futuristic war. Like battles that took place in reach for example. Just imagine the feels they could bring out of people by adapting the sacrifices of Spartans in reach, the glassing of planets, the intense moments you'd get from evacs ending in the loss of countless lives. A fall of reach movie has so much potential. The lore is there, all that's needed is a good portrayal of characters you can get attached to and the rest should come naturally.

They are starting to listen to the tweets and forum posts which is good, otherwise we wouldn't have gotten the classic rocket launcher. Unfortunately the Halo Community has for the most part died. There are very VERY few machinimas now. The file browser is garbage for a new gen game. But I think that if they can master file browser and finally fucking put in infection and all of those classic modes, they could get something going. Again the community may never be back to its peak strength, but it could arise. With Halo 5 bringing new players to the community it has caused a substantial amount of fighting. But if they could master file browser and get the flow of custom games surging through the servers, we could definitely have a good Halo game on our hands. We just have to chip away at the mistakes.

I want to thank you for emphasizing my feelings perfectly. Seeing that sign at the end brings back such Nostalgia. All night binges with buddies, firefight, forge, customs, campaign, just having tons of fun. I miss that now. All my old buddies have moved on or left, as have I. I always go back to these games though, just to remind me that there used to be such a perfection in the titles and you could go all night playing, without end.

This is probably the case since we saw so many Covenant forces on the ground, and the only Covenant aircraft in use where Banshees, so in order to deploy such a huge force without using any Type-52 Troop Carriers (Phantoms,) or any Type-25 Troop Carriers (Spirits.) The Assault Carrier's was definity deployed and keep activated through the whole conflict until the Assault Carrier's destruction. So, yes. Kat was to use the grav-lift.
The best way I think of to explain how Reach is 10x better than Halo 4 is to compare them to movies: Halo Reach: Lone Survivor Halo 4: G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra

Love this trailer so much I remember all the hype and the trailer being on TV it was majestic since it was Bungie's final Halo game....unfortunately Halo 4 was a severe let down because it didn't feel like a Halo game to me, I hope Halo 5 or whatever it will be called can bring back the nostalgia of older Halo games!

Loved each character and was sad when they died. Firefight was perfect and had me wanting to beat my score every time I play it. Objectively I understand this probably wasn't the best game of all time. BUT, in my heart, in my memories, in the emotion I feel every time I load this up on my old 360 or every day closer I get to being able to let myself get it on PC (I need to not fail school first), the pure nostalgia I feel for the game and all the memories I have on custom games and online with friends, the connection to every flawed member of noble team and even too perfect to be true carter, all of that and more makes Reach the best game of all time. +Xalek Games it is much easier. I literally went 32-6 in a snipers match yesterday. THIRTY TWO AND SIX! Let me also add that I didn't camp and at least half of them were snapshots. I could have never done that in the older Halo games. But because it's so easy to evade, escape, and execute getting a kill is easy. Oh and get a load of this. This kid got a headshot on me when I wasn't paying attention and sent me a message saying "U suk m8". I looked at his gamer tag and saw that it was "Your M0mmmmmmmm". That was the kid's gamer tag I shit you not. And at this point I was 13-1. So I replied with a subtle "Yeah sure whatever you say sport". It's sad that only little kids and 23 year olds play Halo now. Everyone in between has given up on the franchise.

All these years later and this absolutely extrordinary trailer still sends chills down my spine. i miss the old days. Gaming just doesnt hold the feel it used to anymore because games just are not made with care anymore. I hold so few modern titles close it is sad that my list of "favorites" is composed of games that are usually at least 5-10 yrs old with 6 titles that are nearly 20 or more. I still play them but i cant play a modern title past 2 months.

Charles Eby The reason Bungie left is because there was alot of restrictions and they wnated to move on. 343 Industries is mostly made up of the Bungie members that worked on Halo.
No, Microsoft kicked them because they didn't meet the requirements and 95% of bungies members are in the development of Destiny very few members of 343 are bungie.

Love this trailer so much I remember all the hype and the trailer being on TV it was majestic since it was Bungie's final Halo game....unfortunately Halo 4 was a severe let down because it didn't feel like a Halo game to me, I hope Halo 5 or whatever it will be called can bring back the nostalgia of older Halo games!

Bungie did south a great job with giving you this emotional attachment to the characters and their mission, gets your right in the heart. Bravo to bungie, for making me feel so much emotion in one trailer and one phrase; remember reach.
Even though I'm switching to Sony...I'm really going to miss this :''(. Halo was my childhood. I've cherished it for years. I'm glad I'll still be able to play with Bungie with Destiny, but still, I'll never forget all the memories I've had with Halo, whether it was the awesome story, magnificent multiplayer, etc. Thanks Halo, thanks for many years of kicking ass.

Loved each character and was sad when they died. Firefight was perfect and had me wanting to beat my score every time I play it. DISCOVER HOPE
Objectively I understand this probably wasn't the best game of all time. BUT, in my heart, in my memories, in the emotion I feel every time I load this up on my old 360 or every day closer I get to being able to let myself get it on PC (I need to not fail school first), the pure nostalgia I feel for the game and all the memories I have on custom games and online with friends, the connection to every flawed member of noble team and even too perfect to be true carter, all of that and more makes Reach the best game of all time. Unquestionably.
This makes me wish for a movie this style soo damn much🙏

Thom delivered the shit out of that hope. Kick ass trailer, best halo game. No other installment of the series made me care as much about how I was impacting the plot, or communicate a constant sense that all was fucked. Except maybe ODST...

+Xalek Games it is much easier. I literally went 32-6 in a snipers match yesterday. THIRTY TWO AND SIX! Let me also add that I didn't camp and at least half of them were snapshots. I could have never done that in the older Halo games. But because it's so easy to evade, escape, and execute getting a kill is easy. Oh and get a load of this. This kid got a headshot on me when I wasn't paying attention and sent me a message saying "U suk m8". I looked at his gamer tag and saw that it was "Your M0mmmmmmmm". That was the kid's gamer tag I shit you not. And at this point I was 13-1. So I replied with a subtle "Yeah sure whatever you say sport". It's sad that only little kids and 23 year olds play Halo now. Everyone in between has given up on the franchise.
16-year-old here. Haven't given up yet. Still play the MCC and the original trilogy whenever I have time off from school.

All these years later and this absolutely extrordinary trailer still sends chills down my spine. i miss the old days. Gaming just doesnt hold the feel it used to anymore because games just are not made with care anymore. I hold so few modern titles close it is sad that my list of "favorites" is composed of games that are usually at least 5-10 yrs old with 6 titles that are nearly 20 or more. I still play them but i cant play a modern title past 2 months.
