Devon Enreval Eggman has an unbelievably powerfull, learning robot with a history of betraying him in his army. Wily has a virus that makes robots betray their master. Yeah...this result wasn't that surprising...
It is a accurate winner because the virus makes him uncontrollable even killing all of human life and other robots and because no one can stop him he wins

One thing I immediately thought when Death Battle brought in Metal Sonic: "If Eggman were to win, it would be because of Metal Sonic. If Metal Sonic were to be destroyed or turned evil, EGGMAN WOULD NOT WIN." And as soon as I saw the pill (which actually was using the sprite for the CURE to the Roboenza virus), I knew Eggman had lost.
Also, Ris, Metal Sonic may have been created by Eggman, but it has been proven that Metal actually doen't give a **censored** about Eggman. In Sonic Heroes, it is assumed that the antagonist of the game is Dr. Eggman, but in actuality, it was Metal Sonic, who had actually held Eggman captive before the game, and in the last story, he fuses with the Egg Fleet to become Metal Madness, and later, the Metal Overlord. The Roboenza virus simply assisted Metal's rebellious "nature" and freed the 'bot from Eggman's control.
So yay, that means wily won.

Well, technically, neither party won. Eggman's robot got hit with Wily's Roboenza virus. In the end. Everyone lost. (Except Metal Sonic)

According to Sonic Rivals, Metal Sonic was redesigned so that would not happen again. But it has also been proven that Metal Sonic can think for itself.

Wily never controlled metal sonic, he just freed him from eggmans control. He was never on anyone's side but his own once the programming was undone.

After hearing that you read all the comments I feel like I should say this.
You are amazing, there are so many youtube gamers that just yell, scream, cuss, and are just bad influences on children. You're different, you are so nice, you take fans into consideration, and you are just so childish and fun.
You really get my sense of humor, but you do it better because if I would do this I don't think I could do it without dropping a swear word.
You also do original stuff, you're the only person I've seen who does these "Let's Watch" things, and I love them. You are really cool and I'm glad I started watching your videos. I would say that you deserve more subscribers, but it gets harder to communicate with fans that way, so in a way you deserve the fans you have right now, fans that choose to watch you instead of pewdiepie or Marciplier.
The only other lets player I watch is Jacksepticeye, and I think I like you two the same amount, but you guys have completely different senses of humor, and that's what I love about these 2 channels.

If I can give my 2 cents, I have to say that I think watching the Death Battles Chronologically would be pretty good. I've personally found that watching it that way got me to appreciate the evolution of the series. However, at the end of the day, just do whatever you think works best for you.

One of my favorite death battles for sure. Also I vote for chronological order.
I find it hilarious that Eggman is so athletic and always running and jumping about on is own, but Wily who's much less... large, is always hiding away at the end.

By the way, I advise you to watch death battles chronologically as well. Many of the later DB videos spoil who will win the earlier battles. Before I could see the TMNT death battle, the comments had already spoiled the victor in that matchup.

So i cam back to watch this old reaction today because i felt nostalgic and noticed something funny!
When Metal Sonic copies Napalm Man's napalm bomb weapon, Ris says that he wonders if that's a good technique to copy.
Fast Forward 4 years to his let's play of Megaman 4 and Ris's least favorite weapon in the game was the napalm bomb, which he found absolutely no use for!

Chronological would be the ideal way to go about it, it'd be nice to see you react to the evolution of Wiz & Boomstick. Although like Max said below in the comments, you could also jump to any new episodes that come out in recent times. Therefore, I suppose your next episode should be the upcoming Starter Pokemon Battle Royale (can't spoil that it will be the next new episode if you already predicted it and if there's previews running around of it, not to mention those mentioning it in the comments). If you're also doing it as two episodes per weekend, I guess Wonder Woman vs Rouge would also be up next.
Fortunately, you already did my favorite episode (Rainbow Dash vs Starscream), so no worries for me! :3 Can't wait for your next reactions and videos.
I don't plan to do two episodes per weekend, but since Vegeta VS Mewtwo isn't exactly an official Death Battle, I didn't want to post it on its own :P

Eggman's first design is based from President Theodore Roosevelt in pajamas (same thing giving Sonic's personality from President Bill Clinton), while "Albert" W. Wily's mustache and hair looks just like Albert Einstein, and the two mad scientists had a thing in common with their enemies in blue, i.e. Megaman and Sonic.

If you're still wondering about the order, I vote chronologically. Although, just if you're concerned about newer episodes spoiling their predecessors like the He-Man/Lion-O episode, don't worry about that. Looking at the list of what you haven't posted yet, the only episode that contains spoilers is (name withheld) vs Zitz, so if you decide to do non-chronologically, be sure to watch the TMNT battle royal first.

When you get to the TMNT Battle Royale, fullscreen it IMMEDIATELY. The one who wins fights someone after that and if you see the thumbnail it spoils who won the fight.

Ris Grestar, I don't know if you have been told, but look to the side panels, at about 18:59 of your vid, it gives a side-analysis of the different troops to what advantages that each had. Wily had an advantage when the Robot masters worked as a team, and that Wily planned ahead, even planting a dummy. Robotnik had a problem with controlling some of his minions and was too focused upon the personal victory. In the pre battle analysis, it did say that Robotnik could overlook something vital.....
What about a hand to hand fight? I'm curious.

***** I heard rumor that it was the gen 3 pokemon, but honestly I'm rooting for a grass starter. They never get any love and I think a lot of it has to do with them not being purely offensive. You have to use strategy when using grass, poison, or bug in order to win generally.
Jonathon Spencer Grass-types in general aren't my favorite, but yeah, I agree. They just involve a different playstyle of sorts, and can be devastating when used correctly.
As for this Death Battle, though, they've confirmed that it's the third stages of the Kanto starters.

Watch death battles chronologically and whenever there is a new death battle, watch that first. If you watch it chronologically then you can avoid spoilers in future episodes.
At first, I thought Eggman was a dead ringer to win. But then I realized that they were using 'Eggman' and not 'Robotnik'. BIG difference.
Uhmmm, he's the same person. "Eggman" is a nickname given to him by the Freedom Fighters.
Sly Cooper Actually, Eggman is the original Japanese name for Robotnik.
Robotnik from SatAM is almost entirely an American invention, keeping only semblances of Eggman's original appearance (such as the red outfit and the moustache), while having a much darker and far more cunning personality.
But the point I would make is this. If it's the Sega Sonic Eggman, Wily wins. If it's SatAM Robotnik, then Julian wins. It's as simple as that.

Slyron2000 as professer Gerald robotnick shares the same last name as dr ivo who is called eggman by sonic and friends making them the same character just played much differently like the old sponge Bob and the new sponge Bob
Slyron2000 Shadow isn't in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. That's actually the first game in the series where Tails is Sonic's sidekick.

I think this happened because of me because to my knowledge I was the first one that suggested this and then people started suggesting it after me. Then it happened. People originally wanted Eggman vs. Bowser. I decided to do something that made more sense. Two mad scientists. Now I need to wait for Megaman vs. Kirby... if it will happen.

The only problem I got with this battle was the different Robotniks and robots being used and molded into one army. Yet, then again I don't know enough about Dr. Wily himself.
Other than a few other problems because of that... This was a great episode!
15:03 Yeah they are and that's because Eggman doesn't have robots that can exploit their specific weaknesses, however Metal Sonic might defeat them through sheer brute force.

the main difference between Willy and Eggman is best demonstrated in the Archie comics. Willy has a shred of humanity in that he wants to just outdo Dr. Light, while Eggman is an all-out psychopath, especially in the comics.
You know I was gonna pull a funny and say "PLACING ALL BETS!!! Which do you think he'll go for next?! My money is on Rogue vs Wonder Woman! 8D" but seeing how the comment section has turned into a landslide (from what I could tell) Chronological seems to be the victor here. I'd go for that as well. Also, I hope you managed to keep that list I gave to you as close as possible. That way you won't have to look for it throughout your video comments and just check off what you've seen.

Gotta wonder why Eggman didn't bring Asterons, ShellCrackers or Slicers to the fight. The Metropolis Zone Heroes would have turned the tides in his favor.

Gotta say, if Wily had used Zero he MIGHT have won.
And considering you probably don't know who Zero is he's essentially Wily's ultimate creation designed better than Bass and is one of the characters in the X and Zero series.
It'd probably help to watch either one of these vids (which if you haven't seen em it might be neat to see your reaction to one or both of em): X vs. Zero Decisive Battle 2 or Zero vs. Omega Zero Decisive Battle.

This fight was one my favorites, its in the top 5 for sure.
I would say that Wily is in general the better robot builder and commander. Eggman just managed to build one really effective robot and turns out that's all he needed even if he did not come out unscathed his legacy will live on in the horrifying Dino robot terrorizing the world.
I vote you start going in chronological order, but jumping ahead whenever a new episode is released.
Although that would mean you would not see Peach vs Zelda any time soon and the wait is killing me!

I think I know the reason why they had Metal Sonic win. As seen in the video, the rest of Eggman's army was easily outmatched by Wily's army. However, when you throw Metal Sonic in, Eggman will beat Wily which is kind of unfair since the rest of Eggman's robots sort of suck. So, since Metal Sonic is so vastly superior to every other robot in the battle, they decided to make him the winner.
Bass, it's all about that Bass bout that Bass no Treble.
There really isn't much point in needing to watch them in order or not as you have already covered most of the videos. You already got the more recent ones covered first, so coming to these old ones won't make much of a difference, but I digress.
I really want to have you watch the next Death Battle Royale between the starters.
