He’s hardly going to slag the cabbage hats off mate, he was one. If the high command get their way it will be an army commando unit soon anyway, wankers!
@@Airbornebrotherhood He was a paratrooper aswell before joining the Marines, he was part of 9 para.. But in all fairness from his book it sounds like he might have just been a bit of a all round wanker himself bk then ...
I don’t know him mate and haven’t read his books, having been a young soldier too we’ve all done things and been gung-ho at times. He’s very good at self PR though so hats off to him.
@@Airbornebrotherhood his book the "First man in" is worth a read.. Some story from asaft Middle class lad at army basics to the paras , marines and SBS.....

Hey Connor, press your shirt collar properly.
Anyone seeing this and thinking of joining. I suggest a PROPER infantry regiment in the ARMY it will save you a lot of embarrassment.
Why? So RAF regiment is bad
Why what's so embarrassing about the RAF Regiment? They are a proper infantry regiment.
Lol, the Army left air bases undefended in WW2 that's why the RAF regiment exists because the ARMY fucked up.
RAF REG - "STAND TOE TO TOE WITH THE REST"
RAF Honnington…Where are the H S Buccaneers

manzilla48 , join the Paras if you have the IQ of a tin of peas , join the RM if you want to be the best and can handle discomfort , join RAF reg if you want 5 mins of discomfort then a lot more opportunities ;-)
@@kieroncarter wdym is RAF regiment bad
Anybody who says join the army instead these lot exist because the army fucked up in ww2😂 so yh. I have applied for the raf regiment today and people need to stop complaining about them when they wouldnt do it themselves 😅
How did it go ? Did you join ?
"if you could give one bit of advice to anyone joining the RAF Regiment what would it be"......"join the Army".
I mean dont get ne wrong, its probably alright and being the RAF you for sure get looked after than the other forces but if you have been in the Military these guys are just a laughing stock for everyone else, wether they deserve that or not.
RAF Reg need to up their game. Make training harder to pass. They need to do more to earn more respect. When i was in the raf they all thought they were rockhard fanny magnets. And they ALL looked down on anybody who wasn't one of them! Laughable really.
Ha ha ha ha. The RAF Regiment! The butt of all military jokes.
Well done all you milatry for leaving under USA dresses.
