Yes dude he's the best one I have ever used. Especially the thing I like about him that how the strikers run forward towards goals almost unstoppably and just a long through ball is required to score a goal ❤️
in this formation, you don't need offensive full backs. defensive full backs are more important. because there are no wingers so you don't really need to cross. just play through the middle through short passing. and this formation is best to play against 433. you will always win no matter what.
and no, you just cant use any midfielder. you have to use hole players or box to box players in midfield in order to organise a fast counter attack.
The idea of using full blacks in offensive role is to free up the densely packed central area or to keep the mid densely packed leaving the sides undefended.
Unlike the past generations where mostly no.9 use to be the kings. These days most top players are wingers. It also comes with a problem because they like to drift towards the central area to find the net. The fullback attack has 2 main purposes. It is to either attract the defending fullbacks to the sides allowing lesser man defending the mid or if the the defending fullback chose to defend the mid. The attacking full back can either cross the ball or get closer to the central area and find an opening by either passing the ball forward past the defenders where a running forwards could pick the ball near the goal keeper or pass straight towards their forwards to scorer. Sometimes they occasionally take shots on the target too but that is very rare. Sometimes they also call it attacking by numbers or attacking is the best defense.
The mid field shouldn't take that role even if they could (off course in every game there is an exception) became if they do it creates a hole in the midfield. Which is something that is very easy for the defending team to exploit the defect and carry out quick and rapid counter attack to score since the midfield player who is so far on the wings can't recover his lost position in case the attacking team loses the ball.
The problem with your idea is that the defending fullbacks will defend the central area making it difficult for the attacking team to score. Since you said there isn't a need to cross the ball so why would the defending fullbacks defend the sides when all the action will be in the central area?
Like I said if you send a midfield to the sides to either free up the central area or to cross it is a big gamble because the defending team will notice the hole in the attacking midfield making them eager to seek for quick counter attack once they get the ball. Fullbacks as full time defender suit in the older style of football, not anymore. Nowadays every top team wants an offensive fullbacks.

I'm currently trying him and so far i have mixed feelings... defence is not performing very well and i'm struggling in middle attack...i previously used Simeone (Valbuena) 4-2-2-2 and he was defensively far far better than santos as irl... I'm used to wide attacking so that may be the reason for struggling in attack with santos but still I'm going to use him just to learn middle attacking...btw his familiarity is 120% and ts of 99...peace✌🏻

Idk if u forgot or if u didn't know, but the CB's, CMF's, and AMF should have low pass and lofted pass, and all the players should have Counter Attack as their playing style.. Reason for these are because ur players can play quicker ball game on CA and ur players should be able to play long or low passes to attackers at any pointing time of the game.
