After viewing this I watched your update video........and wept tears as the old lady expected you to take money from her pension for the food, she just couldn't believe it was all free for her. @@christinerose4839 Yes, there really is so much sadness and tragedies in the world, on earth and beyond, which also is full of beautiful and majestic things: humming birds, flowers, bees, giant trees, mountains, valleys, whales, tigers, lions, rhinos, crickets, dandelions, eagles, rivers, lakes, oceans, planets, moons, galaxies and clusters of galaxies and great walls of super clusters of galactic structures... literally trillions and trillions of galaxies, with stars in the visible Cosmos than all the individual grains of sand on all the beaches on earth.... Not just as individuals but even at the species level, our existence is so short, compared to the lives times of planets and moons and stars and galaxies and galactic structures of the Universe.... we could never and would never have enough time or understanding to fully appreciate all the beauty and tragedies that exist, within ourselves, within earth, and within the universe... That, BTW, is why so many people throughout human history, resort to Stone, Iron, and Bronze age tribal fairy tale stories of their specialness and how they are connected to some sky god or others who cares about them, who guides them, with holy or divine doctrines or knowledge, etc. But as Carl Sagan has said: we are all alone and no one is gong to pop into our realty, from the sky "above" or "below"... with magic or space technologies... that would solve or explain away all of our problems .... or would tell us about the larger events, processes, and extreme states of reality of the Universe and beyond...
All she needs is to get that water closer to her, fix the roof, make sure the house doesn't fall, rebuild the oven or at least prop it. She could use a nice set of false teeth too.
@Iwona Jarosz I'm sure its the same in Russia as the usa. Out in the country they have so much reusable wood in old barns and houses that nobody uses. All they need is to be reclaimed, maybe sanded and painted. Building sites in the cities are full of materials that are leftover. People throw away perfectly good windows, sinks, doors, appliances...it's such a waste.
Well, alive people can be quite helpful sometimes if you communicate with them in a kind way. She is complaining just too much, maybe that's why she is afraid of alive people. Strange woman. There is more behind her story we don't know

I feel sad and angry about what her only daughter did to her,how could she do that to her mom. I could definitely live in that serene place...together with those beautiful dogs. Nature bliss is just amazing gift to people. and wow! this woman is brave and so compassionate.
I lived like that for nearly twenty years and can tell you it's a very hard, physical life. You soon stop noticing the beauty of your environment when you have to sort out firewood and food for the winter.

@@annnee6818 I get that Ann, I really do. The "modern" life has its own challenges and, to me at least, tends to lack meaning so I get why people romanticize the simple life. I still do my best to live that way but it's very much never-ending work if you don't have a family or community to fall back on. I rarely get the chance to read a book or go for a walk just for the pleasure of it but it's a rewarding life all the same.
I also lived in backwoods or bush Without piped in water. My heat and cooking source a wood stove. I had To chop tree trunks but usually took the fell trees, they needed to be seasoned before burning. I had to make logs to split with an axe. I had a cold rapid creek closeby it was my source of water. I fished for trout and crayfish mainly ate Legumes and homemade pastas. I grew my vegetables and luckily had wild fruit bushes and nut trees. It was my utopia. Decades past i got too slow as i aged. Always cold, my last winter there i couldn't warm up i was freezing..so i put my cabin on the market and moved to a tiny town. I don't regret anything. Iam very grateful to be alive !
If she had MONEY. They would be glad to help her fix it up. But being she is poor. No one is going to help her out. For no one know about giving, sharing, lending a helping hand and be openhanded and freely giving Towards one another without expecting anything back from one another. We live in a rich man world. Everyone wants that ALMIGHTY DOLLAR to increase their wealth and riches in life. Sad, we all can't help one another out in life without expecting anything back and without grumbling about it. Noone should have to live that way. But we do, because we're not wealthy rich like some people are. Some people get there money by oppressing, exploiting, crushing, swindling, scamming, charging high prices and making big profit from other people to increase their wealth and riches so they can live a fancy luxurious lifestyle. It take a good hearted person. To give, share, lend a helping hand and be openhanded and freely giving Towards one another without expecting anything back from them. They do not want to carry someone else's burden. The people only think of themselves and their pleaser in life. If the do for someone else, they want have time to enjoy life. So the poor does their best in a rich man world.

This reminded me of my grandma. I miss her a lot tonight and I wish I could turn back time and force her to stay at our house. She kept coming back to her old apartment that was overtaken with things she hoarded over the years :”((( She also lived with the neighbor’s dog which they abandoned when they left.. and a lot of cats :”( The house smelled bad but she loves staying there. In some respects she has a beautiful, peaceful natural life...most enviable in some ways..if only she had a new little house nearby, that would keep her warm, dry and safe.. and regular visitors with help, I'm sure she would love that...I cannot even imagine how she lives like this..i wish i could help her...i definitely would not have abandoned my mother this way

I am speechless. I've been staring at the screen for 5 minutes thinking about what can I say besides what a tough lady and the horrible way she has to live. Please you need to change the heading. This is not a beautiful village. It's a sad, dilapidated and lonely abandoned village with an abandoned old lady. She freezes during winter and we sit and complain about mundane things.

It seems that maybe that’s why she enjoys living out away from everyone, too. She’s experienced a lot of disappointment from people. I live in a loud neighborhood, people mowing lawns, dogs barking, children screaming, music blasting, etc. I don’t think I have the gusto to live out on my own like this woman though. She said she used to be an athlete, probably where her stamina comes from. I on the other hand dont have an athletic bone in my body. I’m in awe of how well she gets by on her own like this.
What a beautiful smile! She has such a sweet spirit and soul. I just want to build her a small, cozy house with plumbing and electricity, and a giant fridge, then fill it and the cupboards to bursting. She seems happy but I don't like the fact that she's alone and it gets so cold there. May God bless her, and keep her safe, happy, and WARM!

pastas. I grew my vegetables and luckily had wild fruit bushes and nut trees. It was my utopia. Decades past i got too slow as i aged. Always cold, my last winter there i couldn't warm up i was freezing..so i put my cabin on the market and moved to a tiny town. I don't regret anything.

This reminded me of my grandma. I miss her a lot tonight and I wish I could turn back time and force her to stay at our house. She kept coming back to her old apartment that was overtaken with things she hoarded over the years :”((( She also lived with the neighbor’s dog which they abandoned when they left.. and a lot of cats :”( The house smelled bad but she loves staying there. I wish I could have done more. I miss you, Mamada :(((

I am speechless. I've been staring at the screen for 5 minutes thinking about what can I say besides what a tough lady and the horrible way she has to live. Please you need to change the heading. This is not a beautiful village. It's a sad, dilapidated and lonely abandoned village with an abandoned old lady. She freezes during winter and we sit and complain about mundane things.

It seems that maybe that’s why she enjoys living out away from everyone, too. She’s experienced a lot of disappointment from people. I live in a loud neighborhood, people mowing lawns, dogs barking, children screaming, music blasting, etc. I don’t think I have the gusto to live out on my own like this woman though. She said she used to be an athlete, probably where her stamina comes from. I on the other hand dont have an athletic bone in my body. I’m in awe of how well she gets by on her own like this.
