Can You Beat The ULTIMATE Don't Starve Hurricane Challenge?

- Hurricane Season is a "dangerous" season within the world of don't starve shipwrecked (or island adventures in Don't Starve Together) But I have said time and time again that this season is a pushover, so I put myself up to the task to take on the ULTIMATE hurricane challenge and see if I can survive 100 days in a heavily modified and far deadlier version of hurricane season
THIS CHALLENGE TAKES PLACE IN THE SHIPWRECKED DLC OF DON'T STARVE, NOT ISLAND ADVENTURES (DST MOD)

Lost interest in this DLC 5 years ago after never reaching a full year but after watching your guide finally went over a year and now on 200 days on the way to a megabase, thanks for the tips my guy

@@polarlotus it really is, just used the first 3 dry seasons to clear out the magma biomes to get rocks and gold easily, and cleared out the entire main island of hostiles to breed doydoys for appeasing the next dry season
i was poisned, railed in the ass by lightning every few seconds and then the boss atacked my base.

i knew nothing about shipwreck but it was super easy to understand with this video, i loved it, very entertaining through and through, new sub ⚡⚡, i´ll proceed to stalk your other videosfor my entertainment cashawww
I feel like getting the snakeskin hat to deal with the 🌩should have been priority number one, over the armored boat, because you could always run away from Sealnado to postpone the battle until you're ready.
After all, a bit of bad luck and the lightning would end you in a moment, so dealing with that as soon as possible seems to make the most sense.
Also, a snakeskin jacket, if you're willing to deal with lower inventory space, will make you 100% waterproof in combination with the hat, which is also very nice for Hurricane Season.

If there were enough merms on that island, you could've easily made surf n turf with 2 fish and 2 monster meat for op healing though.

Don't starve together there are mods named Island Adventures. If I recall correctly these are separated into content chunks like characters in one, world in another ect. I have never tried it tho. Just seen it.

It would certainly be interesting, constant damage from rain and wetness BUT lots of heals from lightning, I wonder 🤔
Lots of speed and lots of nightmare fuel is a certain. ;-]
impossible because the rain would kill you before you can be completly dry
1 damage per second so 100 seconds to get safe from the rain

Are you sure the parasol just didn't protect you from lightning bc you were actively rowing a raft? That disables things in your hand
@@shadybadger7896 i have tested umbrellas on a raft while rowing before and they do provide insulation, pretty parasols just do not provide insulation unfortunately
