Loving these tutorials Greg, especially these recent ones because thats the length and shape I'm eventually going for. I'm growing out the beginnings of my first beard. 20 days in and its starting to become messy, my aim has always been get to 60 days without touching it, to let it fill out but my will power is already under scrutiny. Any advice to help me through this messy phase would be much appreciated, I really don't want to tap out early.

Great video and I applause what you're doing which is teaching people to look neat. I'm currently growing a beard for the first time in 20 years. Greg, I noticed in many beard cutting videos that you always cut from top to bottom. What is the reason for this? Is it just to make it look neat without cutting it too short or is it something else?

    • @GregBoswell428

@@SelçukÖzenç-u6c going against the grain (up) cuts it shorter and the hair lays differently. Going with the grain (down) allows it to lay more natural.

    • @markcafebrown2883

Yes I use brush or blow dryer here n there, it makes it less curly but lose a lot of volume or thickness to beard , it looks to thin to me, so I’m just Rockin it all curly and waves. It’s a lot longer n bushier now than in my profile pic.
