#AttackOnTitan - บันเทิง
It seems Floch's fate is to remain controversial to viewers in both circumstances, as he opposes the main cast each time for reasons that even they cannot refute. By this metric they end up making the same emotional choices as our characters on the roof and the same mistake as the government, ignoring the fears of the common people, "fodder," the "unknown soldier," for our cherished characters or political elite. This becoming the exact reason for the uprising and it's popularity. Thank you for watching the video, what do you think about Floch and the Jaegerists?
- FuchsiaFree
Floch had better character development than anyone else in season 4.
Floch is the best character in the show, and a true hero to HIS people
Bran: Can a man still be brave if he’s afraid?
Eddard: That is the only time a man can be brave.[11]

after paradis got nuked
Floch is proven to be right all along
Floch is the only character that remained consistent
Armin and the alliance all suck
Yeah alliance sucks
Even if you don't agree with them, I don't think that they're really "inconsistent". It's no coincidence that, with the exception of Eren himself and technically Floch, every pre-Shiganshina Scout sided with the Alliance. Every other Jaegerist is either from other divisions, or a recruit who joined after Wall Maria was reclaimed, and the secret of the outside world was revealed.
@@CABRALFAN27 Did you like, read the story? There was no "pre Shighanshina Scout" left, because Zeke turned them into minced meat. The only scouts remaining were the alliance, Eren and Floch. As for people from other divisions, the older cadets were turned into Titans, whereas the newer cadets sided with the Yeagerists.
If you are taking about the ghosts Hange sees, those are just her delusions, projecting herself onto the dead people.
@@tanujmaheshwari5964 I... Don't see how any of that contradicts what I said? I was more asking how the Alliance were "inconsistent".
@@CABRALFAN27 I was talking about your comment that claimed that "every pre Shighanshina scout sided with the Alliance", which is just wrong. As for Alliance being inconsistent, well most of them couldn't even be categorised as "characters" per say, so there is little to talk about consistency.
If the norm is to hate a character for their worst impulses when the world hasn't offered them any other roads, then I'll gladly go against that norm. Erwin and Floch were the only two who stayed true to their character by the end
They really blame Floch for trying to save his country.. and love the warriors for doing the same. Hypocrites😂
ERWIN AND FLOCH,THE BEST CHARACTERS OF THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!

I’ve always liked floch. Such a badass.
Obvious Manga spoilers
Didn’t he get beat up by an old lady (Ms. Azumabito) when he had a gun in his hand? He almost looked like he was about to cry in that panel, too.
@@Phasmania he didn’t get beat up she twisted his arm and he escaped right after
@@jaydengray30 What a badass, lmao
@@cheeseheaddude Unfortunately he was still right in the end.
Agreed
It took me all the way to episode 14 to realize I like floch. In a way, Erwin died and his character split in two. On one side you have Armin, successor of Erwin in strategic intelligence. Floch is the spiritual succesor, inspired by Erwin to abandon humanity and trust in the devil within and Eren. I feel as if Erwin survived he'd probably lead the Jaegerists.
I like this analogy. And I can also see a bit of Jean in Floch. They may butt heads but both speak the truth. Like Floch, Jean had his moments of cowardice as well as Armin. When you think about it, Armin, Jean and Floch have traits of a leader. So in a sense, they were successors of Erwin. Those 4 are easily my favorites in the series.
@@jdcv17 same, except armin.
When Erwin died, his traits are split between Floch, Armin, Eren and Hange.
@@uzairahmed4197 i think his traits are split between Jean, Floch and to a lesser extent Armin. Armin shared more in common with Erwin when he was alive, after that he just doubted himself at every step.
Floch inherited Erwin's charisma and spirit.
Jean inherited Erwin's compassion and leadership skills.
Armin already was a brilliant strategist so it's safe to assume Erwin doesn't get all the credit.
Hange lost herself. Unlike Erwin who, although gambled with destiny quite a lot and achieved many things, Hange begins to deconstruct everything in front of her and find out how or why it works. She does it to the point she starts deconstructing herself and breaks down.
I would say Armin and Hange, without Erwin, are lost.
Nope. Erwin was a humanist and he would never support the super genocide
Floch and Eren (let's face it...the end doesn't represent Eren's character) are both amazing and admirable. We must save and preserve our people at all costs.
Glory to the New Eldian Empire.
It's definitely understandable, if nothing else, and it's no coincidence that Jean, the only one with (Non-Titanized) family on Paradis, is also the only Alliance member who seemed to be genuinely considering siding with the Jaegerists. Of course, the thing about that mentality is, you don't really have a leg to stand on if you want to blame others, like, say, the Marleyan Government and the Warriors, for doing the same thing.
@@CABRALFAN27 Marley was already planning to genocide the Island and the whole world was ready to support that policy. Eren was a demon (savior) the Eldian people needed.
@@CABRALFAN27 You seem to be under the assumption that, in a fight for survival, you care for hypocrisy. LOL
@@dicemm5544 No, on the contrary, I'm just acknowledging that most of them don't care about their own hypocrisy, if they recognize it at all, is a big part of the series' tragedy.
Now seeing the recent chapter 8 pages flouch was right Erwin should have been chosen.
This has got to be one of the best analysis on Floch. I like how you mentioned his parallels with Jean as well as Daz. I watched several videos analyzing Floch but you're the only one to even mention Daz and Samuel. If Armin, Jean and Floch were cowards Daz was the most coward of them all. There's also some parallels with the Marlow-Floch and Marco-Jean dynamic, I'd like to think that they could've been good friends. Your video made me rethink whether I'd act like Armin, Jean, Floch, or someone else if I was in the world of Attack on Titan.

When in doubt remember most people are stupid and half of them are even dumber then that.
Ruh-oh can't wait to be called a Fascist for liking this video.
Be strong enough to stand by your principle and reject buzzwords by people that can't even define Fascism beyond vague mustache-twirling evil and ethnic cleansing which exists in multiple political systems.
Diplomacy wasn't an option for Paradis anywhere. We saw a meeting in the show before Eren left the scouts where the world said it themselves they'd be ok with Eldians outside the walls but they said the Eldians of Paradis had to die.
Just by watching the disclaimer I could tell that you were a real fan of SnK
No need for a defense because if you're read the latest leak had thing's gone Floch's way Paradis would still exist
Everyone says that, but all we really see is one city, at least a century in the future, getting bombed. We have no context for who did it, why, and if it also happened to the rest of Paradis. In fact, judging from the boy and his dog, it can be assumed Paradis wasn't wiped out completely.
@Shouryya Goswami I find your reasoning great and logical. No need to to apologize ...it come to my attention that those saying "uuuu if only Paradis survive there would be civil war among them" turn out those hypothetical prediction comes from armong stans trying to prop Armin was right/is a hero or whatever. Thank goodness the extra page slap the bitch out of them.
@@CABRALFAN27 The city getting bombed is Paradis. Eren's tree is proof of that.
@@CABRALFAN27 Also we do know it's Marley or a Marley associated country. AOT is proof of that.
@@luxeternity also civil wars only happen for political reasons, genocide of eldians by eldians would never happen
After the additional pages of chapter 139, paradis gets destroyed, yes, Armin couldn't save them. So Floch was right all along.
Nice analysis man, hope your video gets more traction
As of the ending and the additional 8 pages how do you feel about floch now
We may or may not be making a video on this subject in the foreseeable future, wink wink nudge nudge
I don't think they in any way prove him "right" like a lot of people are saying, but I do still sympathize and empathize with him a lot. I ultimately disagree with him, but I understand why he does what he does, and I can't really hold it against him, either.
@HAIL FLOCH Username checks out.
In all seriousness, aside from the fact that we don't even know if Paradis was permanently destroyed, there's also no way to know whether or not it would've survived had Eren succeeded. With the Curse of the Titans still around, it seems likely to me Paradis would've fallen into civil war, and hell, for all we know, the conflcit we see in the extra pages _are_ a civil war.
@@CABRALFAN27 Ahhh the Civil war cope
@@CABRALFAN27 civil war cope
Floch is my fav
King floch
Jean knew he didn't have a alternative to the rumbling. He logically understood it was the only option and rejected it with no regard to what's next. That's the entire mentality of the alliance.
I always like how Floch was consistent he decided he would do whatever it took to have Eldia win. He didn't like Eren before and he still didn't like him when he led the yaegerist he was always a means to protecting his people a tool.
2:40 wasnt this just a plan to get Jean out of their grasp?
Floch is the true king
Whenever I saw the fight in the harbor I truly never chose a side whoever got some sort of advantage or an upper hand I always cheered for them especially when Floch fought against everyone
You know, the ending just showed that Floch was the only one who was right. Eren threw the war and trusted armin, which only led to eldia’s fall years later. Floch was the only one in the show to be right in the end.
All hail king floch emperor of eldian empire f*ck armin and that alliance cringevengers
Yep
Truly correct people are rarely listened to in favor of people that sound right. The fact that people side with the cringevengers is exactly why the world is filled with lying politicians people care more about maintaining the perception of having the moral high ground over effective policies that are judged by results and not platitudes.

When did jean save floch???
In Marley, Liberio. Floch is taking his revenge at civilians and almost gets shot but Jean swoops in and kills the soldier that aimed at Floch. Jean then proceeds to scold Floch for enjoying it too much, at which Floch replies that A demon is leading the way. Eten is showing them what they must do.
