Don't you just hate it when you are half way through the mission only to find out that your craft has a flaw. Thankfully it wasn't mission breaking. Keep up the great work!
Cheers man! And haha yup! Luckily it wasn’t anything too critical though. _This time_ Also, some of the crafts you’ve been building recently have been mega!
Oh my god I recently installed RealFuels, and made some changes (unkerballed start, start with LFO engines and procedural wings, SSTU probe on start, that stuff), and since my install is already heavily modded (10gb of mods, yeah, I need to uninstall some stuff, my pc suffers at 6 fps (altough I was using AVP 2k, Im rying to switch to spectra, but it seems heavier somehow, even though it's made for performance)), and engines require ullage, and limited ignitions too, different fuels, etc It's already one hydrolox firsr stage that goes because I thought I could ignite the engines more than once, atleast one Aerozine/NTO third/second stage that is useless because the little spider engines I put in require high pressure tanks and ullage (thankfully though, the main engine didnt (sstu is a old mod, pobably why, so it dont have limited ignitions and ullage requirement), so it's practically uncontrollable Atleast not I unlocked RCS so I can actually do something

I completely agree that the RP-0 Career has been done to death. There’s only so many time you can watch 15 Episodes of Sounding Rockets and Spaceplanes before it gets boring. Very excited for this series!
I really like the lander design here. Also, while Principia rendezvous missions are intimidating at first, once you get used to what the special reference frame is actually showing you, I honestly think they're a lot easier to understand than equivalent maneuvers with patched conics. Additionally, if you don't get the best approach to rendezvous the first time, it's a lot easier to correct with Principia's special reference frame than without it.
My KSP fever has kivk again, it's like Malaria you never get rid of it... and the first I recalled is you series, your modlist it almost matches mine and the last time I mostly adopted your choices so gonna do another run on your series to take inspiration again.
Really excited for this series. Glad that you removed the challenges you weren't interested in (stock career mode), but added more challenge in a way that appealed to you more (3.5x scale). It's going to be fun watching you make the voyage back to Kerbol.
3.5 scale _and principia_ :p. Having a lot of fun with this at the moment, really looking forward to unlocking some of that nicer tech to make it back to Kerbol! :D
Thanks for the mod list, but I cant figure out the 3.5xKSPBH.cfg part, where do I get it? Sigma Dimensions is not on the list, neither Rescale. After lil bit of research I think it should be morphisor244's config file, but it requires sigma dimensions to function. Is it correct one?
Yeah you need sigma dimensions for it to run properly, that should be listed in the mod list but I must have missed that because I got it from GitHub rather than ckan :) (I’ll update the list) And that sounds like the correct file, it’s just a rescale config that I googled :)
BASICALLY, it adds better physics, in default ksp you are only affected by one body’s gravity (so in LKO you are only affected by Kerbin). With principia multiple bodies affect your orbit.
so someone... did stuff.. with moonrocks, also im rewatching this entire series while waiting for new episodes to come out yup just searched it up, its real. he stole an entire safe full of moonrocks to "do it on the moon" and also tried to sell them for 5k$. they were worth 21M$
Carnassa, I have tried Near Future Tech and currently have it installed on my current game. Sadly, I have not had experience past the generic nuclear rocket engines. PS Blow up the commies, please.
It’s gonna be a new experience for me too, so I’ll have to see when I get to that stage! Haha blowing up the commies might be a sure fire way to turn the Cold War hot, we’ll see what happens ;p

Thats pretty odd, and probably another mod causing that. Kopernicus and Principia are definitely compatible, I'm fairly sure one of the main dev's (Egg) for principia mainly does it for RSS, which requires kopernicus!
Quick question, I’m wanting to play 3.5x BH myself after watching this, and I want to know if you have some sort of delta v map or way to calculate the requirements. Also, does transfer windows planner work with this?
When I had principia, I had to manually try and calculate the delta V for the rescale, since removing it MJ does a pretty good job with the advanced transfer function on telling me how much dV I’ll need, I personally use Astrogator and MJ for figuring out transfer windows, but I’m fairly sure TWP _should_ work too!
@@sirjeffels4020 just guessing at the moment! I’d sent a scan sat orbiter around Ash already so I had a vague idea of how much I’d need to do a landing :) I also couldn’t find a dV map so I think as I explore more I’ll write one down as I get to new places and figure out how much I needed to get there!
Hey Carnasa, does this still work might I add? I have latest KSP version and I've been on RSS/RO/RP-1 and I'm not gonna lie, I'm bored. I enjoy the challange but it's just a grind at this point.
It should do! I've just updated the save to 1.12.3 and not really encountered any problems yet, but I've not done anything tooooo major. But all my craft survived which is a massive positive!
@@Carnasa Cheers matey, in looking for something that is interesting but not a grind. I adore Beyond Home because it's stunning (though JNSQ is a close second because it has *the* best lightning settings and such). I assume it's the 3.5x rescale by Morphistor?
