Today I wanted to see how long it would take me to get the skeleton curse in sea of thieves! We went to PvP and it only took us 9 hours with the community day 2.5x multiplier!

Had a fight like this yesterday, both our masts were down and we both had tier 3 holes everywhere, just both resorted to bucket warfare , unfortunately I lost it but it was so funny 😂😂
I feel like something like this can only happen with 2 really good crews and it becomes a stalemate. I think both had their masts down and both had too much water so do repairs, so the only defense for being bucketed is to bucket back to stop them from continuing to bucket.

@@Purrfect_Werecatone suggested tactic is go for two wins and then sell, that will get you a level 5 flag and balance risk vs reward. Additionally a faction stash is something to consider since it provides a boost

You're definitely up there for me, man. We had a 5 game back to back series of fights a while back, and games like that are why I love hourglass. I think you were with Fule for them. Fighting skilled crews is so exciting!

@@thexan7234 Statistically speaking you would win about half your matches. You do about 3 matches in an hour. Selling at steak 2… that’s going to take you a lot longer than 60 hrs
Ofc if you are a bit above average the scale slides in your favor and you will win a lot more

@@thomasdelange7919 I know a lot of the basics. I never learnt how to double-gun though never got comfortable with it! Ontop of that I never think to use blunderbombs or any of that util, yet I somehow managed to hit 100 athena allegiance in under 30 hours give or take with my new mate whos far below average. I think it will surprise people too, that I am probably mediocre compared to a lot of people on cannons. I basically perma-board. I don't think I have done a single hg battle not on a sloop either. I guess I got lucky with a lot of the people we fought which boosted our winrate and streak quite significantly every time we did hg.
Man, and I was proud of getting from 30 to 100 for Guardians in 2 weeks, plus 10 levels for Servants; 9 hours is mental. The fact that people can consistently get streaks like this is baffling to me- getting to 3 is already a struggle, so 20 is unthinkable.

As a new player myself, I got the skeleton curse in just 2 weeks of non-stop playing. Only taking breaks to eat, sleep, and use the restroom. Twas a stressful, rage inducing grind

so seems like community day boost was way better than the skip your Christmas celebration bonus weekend. but basically the hourglass isnt worth doing unless its some kind of bonus weekend or day. Not sure if they increase rep gains for 1-100 but the emissary flags staying with you when you dive so you can go on streaks and still have flags to sell in itself is pretty big too

Getting beat at half mast was my biggest flaw to untrain myself from since beta. I thought having a faster turn was better for the longest time, boy was I wrong. Once I started full speed turning on ‘‘em and only dropping speed when they’re anchored or masted. I’m actually decent at the game now, it’s nice to see that play out on a video, that first volley is so important.

I’ve found that if you can’t win hand to hand to stop reps then you can blunder the hull from the cannon to knock them off

0:10 that is the most accurate thing I have ever heard
Last time I played PVP I got 3 Hacking Crews in a row while queueing only 10 times... They teleported around their ship, held us hostage on our burning ship by one-click emptying out ship, had god mode enabled (2 full blunder shots from a teammate and me didn't kill and we both hit at least 8 pallets each)... It's not really fun that way...
I have been grinding Athena and just go to level 34 after the hardest freaking battle of my life.(also got Athena 20) I spawned and as I was coming up, I got a notification I was entering a ghost fleet. As I surface, a ghost ship is right in front of me and I almost go through it. I start of the battle with some holes and almost sail out because of the damage. I almost sunk about 5 times but managed to come out on top with some help from the fleet one balling my opponent right when he came back from the ferry. Anyway, I may be only 1/3 of the way there, but this video shows me I will be able to do this

omg this was insane. I'm struggling so much with progressing in allegience - barely at 63 since the start of season 8. It's super tiring, and i tend only to play now when there are multipliers. This is outright an insane record.

My friend got the curse without owning it he started yesterday and died then he became a skelly but turned back to normal after a while

honestly, SOT has the best anticheat. Even if you're aimbotting or speed hacking, you still have to contend equally with getting rared and all the troubles that includes

Its a speed hack. Which it all adds up on how he just jumped off his ship and somehow got onto ours while we were going away

Good times when you get a actuall queue of 2~3minutes, now you can't find a single match in 5~15minutes.

Last night my crew and i run in to a 3v3 hourglass match that took us over 4 hours. After we looted everything from a fortress and a smaller island we claimed victory with our last cannonball. Tbh fair play to those guys, gg

I like Athena but skeleton curse is more fun due to cosmetics

Was the reason for the anchor turn to have the strong side facing them while you circled?
It was because of how fast the enemy sloop was turning. Since we rotated we could get more shots off all around the boat instead of the same spot.

am i doing something wrong? just started doing the RHG. i’ve been solo slooping and won my first 10 matches in a row, and im still only level 15 rep. why did this guy get 8 levels from 1 game? my first win brought me from 1 to 3
The 8 levels he got where for reapers if you look back a few seconds he only got 2 levels

The first levels are always super easy to get. Especially when it’s community day
The hardest curses to get are blessing of athenas fortune and golden skeleton curse 9 seconds in and he said somthing wrong. You gotta get 1000 levels of allegiance in their respective sides of the field
