    How much resin did you use to cover the table in this project? It is beautiful, and an absolutely grand idea. How long did it take to dry? Thanks for the inspiration.

      dsr20631 hi some resins can yellow slightly in time ,some are better then others..couldn't say about the scratching,but when using sand paper it scratches..lol.also wonder what would happen if a hot plate was put on it by mistake ?..

    Class work.
    What means did you use?

  • @Kenx42
    @Kenx42 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi! cool work, the table looks really great! :)
    I have some questions, you use epoxy resin? the finish touch of your work is really hard? for example does the art sink or scratch if I use my fingernail?

    • @deanscovers
      @deanscovers  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes hard enough to use as a table to eat at with plates cups and cutlery.

    • @MedialinkProductions
      @MedialinkProductions 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Sharai Guedes - Hi Sharai, glad you like it. Thanks. The resin is pretty expensive - y ou can get it at art supply shops and some hard ware stores. Its a 2 pack resin - mixed together it starts to harden

    • @glennevangelista
      @glennevangelista 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +MedialinkProductions awesome. thanks for sharing.btw what paints did you use? can you use ordinary gloss enamel paints? paints available at hardwares? or it has to be artist paints? thanks!

      Sharai Guedes I know this is way, way late but just in case anyone else needs to know...I just got 2 gallons delivered for under $70 from Amazon. Considering most co. Would charge up to $200 per gallon...I got an awesome deal. You may not even need that much.

      Hi Phil, I don't think any paints were used, only resin and pigments. We supply all the items needed to create this effect ( resin, pigments etc ). More info at www.elichem.co.uk with free shipping to the U.S on MOQ.

      Hi Phil. I believe that "Liquitex Inks" will work and are available at most art stores. Michael's / AC Moore / Blicks etc.
