Welcome to my guide video on where to buy manga cheaply In the UK & EU. There are around 15 great places to buy manga from in this manga buying guide.
Focusing on the UK & EU I've tried to find stores that offer international shipping or often have cheap manga available. If you know any further stores please let me know.
Rightstuff not included as if you don't live in the US it's not a good option.

Best way is when you go to japan pack light and filled it with manga on the way home

@@ThatLightNovelGuy you mean ship it ? My country is in import tax collection addiction anything above 3 dollar will be tax heavily so its better to bring it with you open all the plastic cover and when they check it say its used book so they won't charge any tax
depends on how much you are buying tbh. Like I bought about 4 or 5 volumes when there and that was enough. There's tons of other things to buy and if you buy too many it'll weigh down your suitcase and you'll get extra fees for taking it in most cases.
If you import then import a few things rather than singles in one parcel. Then you'll only get charged the import fees once.
Collecting manga is really a expensive hobby 😔

ok so i dont have any book shops like Waterstones near me, but i do live near a WHSmiths AND THERE MANGA SECTION IS PATHETIC 😔literally last time i went in there they had Tokyo ghoul volumes 1 & 2, some random volume of one piece and, volume 1 of kajiu no. 8. LIKE COME ON! PATHETIC!!!! D: 😭
Oof amazon doesn't have demon slayer volume 12 in English in germany or uk atm what's the best place to check for germany shipment

Honestly I didn't realise it was cheaper tbh
Exchange rates mean it's pretty much the same, maybe a few cents difference, 1 GBP is roughly 1.39 USD. TBH with Rightstuf, CGN, IST and all the choice in the US it's mostly just shopping around that gets you an equal or better price than most UK and EU shops.
I'm guessing you keep renaming this video as video originally uploaded in 2021 yet currently titled "best places to buy manga UK & EU 2023" except Book Depository closed on 23 April 2023.
Yup. The information was correct as of 2023 hence why I never changed it for 2024

Is that for customs? Because most countries charge a customs tax for importing plus extra for the importer as a 'handling fee'
I just use Amazon most of the time 🤣
