Being of Scottish heritage I have always tried to add a little of my tartan into my decorating. Love the navy and dark greens with the dark furniture. My true style.
I have always gravitated to the Ralph Lauren aesthetic. I have a dark navy camel back sofa with ball and claw feet that lends itself to everything RL. I have had it over 25 years and have never tired of the style. So , every room in this video captured my heart. Also the music was hauntingly mesmerizing. I will be humming it all day.

His trademark of plaid and solids Horse portraits, Hunt scenes, Edwardian Ladies. Gentleman, and Hunters. What pure elegance, stepping into the English as decor and sophistication. Quite charming. Ralph Lauren style is like English manor country house,only American style,using classic red,white,and blue. Lots of beautiful plaid, leather,equine accessories,and classic old world style. In essence,just timeless good taste

I’m starting to collect items for this theme in 2025. I have feathers, old silvers, chesterfield lounge, crystals etc. Thank you for putting this together and separated into different categories. In Australia it’s summer so, I’m leaning toward more green navy plaids. Just order some candles for tree and college style patch for cushions to sew in velvet cushions. Thanks again.

I did a Ralph Lauren inspired decor for Christmas this year. First time for me, and I love it! Your video was stunning. I enjoyed it so much. So many you tubers are doing minimal and boring blah colors. Video after video. Sorry but brown is not for Christmas. Thank you so much for putting this up. I’ll probably watch it several times. @@rsnj4501Brown home furnishings & linens are very difficult to use in a home. I find that the color Brown often fades, with any method of cleaning. The seats on Brown furniture often loose their intensity of color, and I only use accents of Brown in limited quantities that can be tossed after 1 season.
I am hoping that after people watch this grand scale decorating with harmonious colors, maybe we can all escape the dull gray colors on walls. I am so sick of gray kitchens, gray bedrooms, gray washrooms, living rooms set to clashing colors. This video was eye candy for me! Pay attention everyone to Ralph Lauren....the master of colors and textiles. We need more of this to lift us all to inspiration with common sense in decor!
I just finished reading an article that showed how this couple built & decorated their home. Just too modern for my taste. If I had tons of money this is the type 11:0911:10 of home I would have. Love all the pillows, throws & art work. Nothing ultra modern for me.
