If you plan on going any farther with this project you are going to have to lift the truck and get rid of those spacers cause they are what’s causing the problem with bending steering rods. You might still bend one after you get rid of the spacers but it won’t be know where as easy as what it has been

Stock won't last. Custom build supports and this thing would be a beast with proper gearing and more torque.
