Thank you Chen. DSP can do FIR +adaptation. DAC can convert D TO A .in this case how does VM TX driver will work on DAC output ?? CM driver can act as buffer for analog data from DAC. ( VM TX driver can't work on analog signal ? ) am i missing anything ?? could you explain a bit more. VM driver supply will be DAC output ?? Thank you CC Chen for your time.
Thanks for the feedback. VM TX driver was made with a few slicers to convert digital to analog, which might not be obvious. I plan to do a few images to help everyone understand it.
There's something I'd like to ask. I'm a master's student studying memory-related interfaces. In the case of PIM memory, can a DAC-based TX be used in the interface? Also, it appears that the DAC-based TX block diagram includes DSP/FIR. How can I study this block? Could you please let me know if there are any papers or study materials related to this block? This article may be awkward because it is translated.
Hi Circuit, nice to meet you, and thank you for the good questions. My understanding is the PIM memory's driver would not require a high-resolution DAC-based driver unless I'm missing something. For the DSP/FIR, you could learn from any book on "Discrete-Time Signal Processing." For the paper, that could be very specific because everyone has their own implementation of the DSP/FIR. 😄
