Of course I have the retros. But I could not wait to get the OGs, from the first time I saw the advertisement for them in foot locker, on a big cardboard prop up. This was jan/feb 97 for release in late March, 97. Pre mainstream internet.
My grandma stood in line for these FOR me, because she didn't want me to skip school to do it lol.
They'll always be sentimental to me. Because they represent a moment of time. Grandma, foot locker, Jordan, Jordan highlights, high school end of junior year, all of that.
And being in Illinois, we were in the red zone for bulls championship energy. No game was missed. Must see TV, every game.

Hard to explain but Jordan went to work in the playoff road black and reds. He played light on his feet in the playoff home black and white joints, he played ok in the reg season white and black joints (taxi) but he just played incredible on the road in the playoffs this season in this particular sneaker. Kill mode Js.
