In one of the episodes when Wil Wheaton and Adam Nimoy are recording a documentary about Spock, Sheldon pulls the dna statue away to open the safe in the wall. It held together and didn't collapsed
There were more „fourth wall” moments. We saw it when Penny got that painting from Amy and then got it again and they were hanging it and also we saw the fourth wall in the hallway when Sheldon got Amy angry while walking up the stairs and he talked to her from the bottom of staircase at the third floor 😅
We also saw that wall when Leonard and Penny went on their first date and Raj and Howard were watching their goodbye kiss from a camera they installed in the hall.
Showing the 4th wall in the shots helps give more perspective on the size of the living space. Normally when watching a sitcom apartment, it can feel bigger because it feels like we’re in the middle of the space. The view we get would actually be impossible because the camera is “behind” the wall we don’t see. TBBT is a good example of this because they have set pieces that show where that wall is. We see Sheldon’s desk all the time and it appears to be placed with space all around it, but it’s really up against the wall. The same is true on “Friends”. It may look like there’s plenty of space to the left side of the door, but it’s really just a foot or so from the corner of the room and wall. It was shown once or twice as well. Also, 3 commercial interruptions is a bit much for an 11 minute video, who decides that pacing?
Have you ever noticed in the season 1 episode where Penny play’s Halo with the guys, Raj says a line in the open in front of Penny, before it was established that if he was drunk he could talk to women. So a small oversight by the director/ producers there.
Raj's problem is psychological, not physical. There are a few times when he forgets a woman is there, and he "can't" talk. It's always when he is engrossed in something, or responds to something sort of on autopilot, and then notices Penny, or whoever, and looks mortified.
Neil deGrasse Tyson was talking to Koothrappali in an episode about “Pluto” as friends .. and in latest episodes he had a fight with him on Twitter as two strangers .. the writers , the staff and the actors forgot about that ! But I didn’t.. 🤠
Well just like many shows, they have terrible continuity. The writers, who get paid for this can't even remember when the elevator got broken or when Sheldon's birthday was. But I can.
