Tanner is a skiier so many have looked up to and it's amazing to see his grit and pioneering story, he pulled a whole industry up with him. I hope he gets to a place where he is loving life again. True honesty in this documentary, congrats
My friends and I repeat the real skiing on real mountains line. I have always thought it was funny and Tanner's big mountain segments are amazing. Keep shredding!
Legendary is an understatement. The Kids a Beast one of the greatest skiers ever!!!!!! Few ever reach that pinnacle of greatness. Cool documentary for sure! My best friend who's gone is my guardian angel as well. Rock on people!!!
I love that so much of his early life was caught on camera. I wish I could see a better angle of him breaking both of his legs though. Also the song at the end is about CR Johnson. And that’s fucking amazing
Red Bull owes this kid paychecks until he dies, he built their snow sports industry popularity. deserves everything he has. Hands down the best skier ⛷ to ever live. It's almost 2018 and he is still putting out bangers. Can't say that about any pro skier from the early 2000s today.
I met Tanner in the early 2000s at Mount Hood. He is an incredible skier but he acted like an entitled prick the whole summer. It sounds like he has suffered a bit. I hope that he has grown up.
True, I watched this hoping to enjoy his journey. What I found was an over privileged brat kid whose parents make excuses for him. Great achievements, slack parents.
Kills me to see how our mens downhill and racing culture getting no recognition. His career is over, he should switch to coaching, he'd do a lot of good for young kids to avoid this type of life, and shove the younger free skiers in the direction of cranking out golds in the Olympics.
Michael Birch your fucking dumb. I have mad respect for all the racers I know and what they do, but it's really only scraping the surface compared to park, backcountry and street. anyone who practises enough can figure out how to make those aggressive turns you ski racers are known for, but only a few greats can do as much in skiing as Tanner hall did and is still doing today. they don't make these kind of documentaries on ski racers because all the greats of the racing scene do the same thing, and are just really good at it. but nobody pushes it, ski racing will always stay the same. Tanner hall pushed freestyle skiing so much , made it what it is today
Michael Birch and as for pushing kids to win gold medals?? fuck off where's the passion in that. training and all just for a moment of glory. (however if it is someone's passion to win gold medals, by all means)
I’ve probably watched this 15 times never gets old
