Here is a custom track made by Jiyuu and Manon, called Alternative N64 Bowser's Castle. It is one of the most unique and creative ideas for a custom track I have ever seen!

Amazing idea! This is one of my favourite courses of all time. Would love it if they redid this in HD. Imagine they did this idea but on the second lap that alternate path opens up for us to use on the second and final lap.

That always botherd me as a kid. I just had to find out how to get in there (legitimately) but never got the insanely unlikely timing to happen.
Here's a list of what I thought was required to get in there:
1. Get squashed by a thwomp
2. Lightning or Lightning cloud shocks me.
3. Get at least 1 mushroom.
4. Get into this area.
I now know it's impossible to get in it.

I feel like there are (and this is the case with many ct's) a little too much emphasis on boost panels, if some were left out it would be an awesome track to race / time trial. At the moment it kinda plays itself.
